Tanner walked in the house, looking at the interior. “Nice house.” He said, grinning.

"Aw." she said. "Thanks for that..."

“No problem.” Tanner said. “Aren’t your parents home? The ones that arranged this whole thingy?”

"Yep." she said, slightly smiling. "They are in the room with the tall cypress plant next to the door

“Should we go there?” Tanner asked. “Y’know, make it official and all that crap.”

"...Sure. Let's go, then." she muttered.

Tanner took a step forward to the room with the tall cypress, looking back at Olivia.

Olivia walked toward the door. "What are ya waiting for?" she asked kindly. "Follow me, i will show you."

Tanner nodded, walking behind Olivia.

Olivia knocked on the door a few times, then opened the door. "Mom, Dad? He is here..."

The man and woman in the door- Olivia’s parents- nodded. “Come in.” They said, and Tanner walked in slowly, waiting for Olivia to do the same.

Olivia hesitantly walked in the room, knowing they would talk about icky stuff.

Tanner sat down on a chair, his gaze switching from Olivia to her parents.
“So are we gonna talk about the uh… the marriage?” He stuttered, which was odd. He’d never stuttered, and never was this nervous about anything. -
Olivia saw the last open bench, and sat on it, noticing Tanner's gaze. She sighed, waiting for her parents to respond and get over the frustration.
