A smirk crossed Alice's face. "What if..." she started.

Tony raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"What if..." Alice repeated confidently, a zephyr of wind passing them as she talked. "we crumple up paper and throw it at them?"

Tony gave a laugh. "As payback? I'd love to."

"Hey, you there!" the teenagers snickered, throwing more papers at them. Alice caught one, and threw it back, scaring the teenagers away again.

Tony laughed. One of the kids threw a crumpled piece of paper at him, and he chucked it back at them.

"Grrr!" The tweens mumbled to each other, throwing more.

Tony caught one, which surprised him since he was so bad at catching anything, let alone a small crumpled up piece of paper.

(tony's not alone here. I'm bad at catching too.)
Another person behind them started mysteriously throwing birthday cards at the little kids. -

"What the-" Tony laughed. -
Alice shrugged. "I think that's magic."

"At least they're helping us throw stuff at the kids." Tony giggled.

Alice smiled. Other people joined in on the action, and started throwing wasted papers at them.

The teenagers eventually gave up and started running away. Tony laughed so hard his sides hurt.

Alice found herself laughing too. She was happy that Tony was happy. "That was weird," she said.
