I'm gonna be using this thread to build end of earth. I'm gonna start on my own, but anyone is free to make a character (or characters) and join so long as they're allowed in my threads normally.
Nuclear war broke out among the superpowers of the world, destroying civilization as we know it and rendering the planet largely uninhabitable for most life forms as they were. The wealthy, the politicians and many of the working class have long since gotten on a spaceship and left to find a new planet to populate. The only life remaining on this shell of a planet are those that were effected by the radioactive waste littered about, and mutated in ways that allowed them to survive the new climate. The world has been plunged into a new dark age.
Some aspects of this world I intend to explore and encourage anyone that joins to consider toying with as well:
❤Every living creature on the planet has either mutated or descended from mutants. Each character has endless possibility when it comes to body mods and strange abilities. (While I encourage these, I want to be clear that these mutants are most often not going to have standard superhero type abilities.)
❤People are often drawn to a sense of community, and there is strength in numbers. What kind of new factions will arise from the ashes of Earth?
This world is still in the development stages! Sorry to introduce it to y'all incomplete, but I really need to work on it and I have a strong affinity for RPing and doing worldbuilding here on GTQ. I'm open to suggestions on how to make this world better, more interesting or more unique. Please be understanding if I don't take your suggestions- I'll consider any that anyone has sincerely, but at the end of the day, I'm the one that has to be happy with this work.
Your choices for species will all be mutants, but the basic types will be limited to human(?), animal, and plant.
I'll be posting any character sheets or notes regarding this world/rp in this here thread.

She trudged through the streets, surrounded by the remains of old office buildings. She had been following a trail for a few hours, but the longer she walked, the more it seemed like she was going in circles.
"Viraaaaa." she whined. The face of the mushroom growing out of what remained of her dear sister split in half, showing off rows of needle sharp teeth.
"What?" it hummed, letting its fleshy, red tongue fall freely from its mouth as it tasted the air. "I can smell it. You're so close. Don't give up yet."
"There's sharp fragments all over the ground here. My feet are bleeding. Can't I take a break?"
The pulsating thing seemed to ponder it for a moment.
"Fine, fine. I'm so patient with you, you know." -
can i join?
