'All headless, horse-riding fathers, then.' The room had a large bed, a closet and a bookshelf lined with novels. 'Huh. I was expecting something more ominous.'

'Maybe there's some kind of secret opening? All the best villains have one.' She started pushing in all the books so they touched the back of the bookshelf, as if they would trigger something.

"Those things you only see in movies. It won't be a thing, though."

'Are you sure?' Morrigan asked, finishing the bookshelf and now looking in the cupboard. 'You can never be sure unless you go through all the possible triggers of a secret room and never find one.'

"I'm sure..." Geistaz muttered. "Especially since there are other techniques to hide some precious stuff... such as... a safe."

'Dang,' Morrigan said, closing the cupboard.

"I like to think out loud for some reason. Sorry if I sound like a nerd." Geistaz said, chuckling a little.

'Nah, I like it,' Morrigan smiled, looking under the bed. 'There's a shoebox under here.' She reached out and took the box from under the bed.

"A shoebox? Could we put clues in there?"

'No, it has something in it.' She shook the shoebox. Some things bounced around. 'Should we open it?'

"Sure." Geistaz said, still thinking about what was in the box. "Give it a try."

Morrigan opened the shoebox. Inside, there were photos of a young girl, probably 4 or 5 with black hair and a notebook. 'Huh.'

Geistaz shrugged. "Was that you?"
