'I guess..' Enola squeaked. She then looked up at the big castle, a sheepish expression on her face.
-
"Hey, Enola, don't worry. The paintings are really helpful." Willow says, then remembers something. "Oh, my mom gave me these in case I make some friends who get sorted into different houses. They're pieces of paper that when you write on them, it shows up on the other pieces." She pauses. "Kinda like that muggle thing, what was it... Texting? Well, anyways, you can make it look like your taking notes yet you're actually writing to others."
-
Michah smiled. “That’s really cool!” He said, walking up to the castle, along with a couple of the other first years.
-
'Alright,' Enola said, taking one of the pieces of paper and she slipped it into her Herbology book, then hurried after the rest of the first years.
-
Willow then realized she was getting left behind, and hurried up the stairs. When they all reached the doors, it creaked open slowly, revealing the giant rooms inside the even bigger castle. A woman in a green cloak with a tight bun, of brown hair with greying streaks in it on top of her head, stood at the top of the stairwell, awaiting the students. "Welcome to Hogwarts, students." The woman said. "I am headmistress McGonagall. The start of term banquet will begin soon, but before you can join your fellow students, you must be sorted into your houses. The houses include Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff, each house has produced outstanding witches and wizards who have changed history. While you are here, your triumphs will earn house points, while rule breaking will result in point deduction. I hope each of you will become a credit to your house." She paused for a moment to take a breath. "The stirring ceremony will take place in a few moments. I shall return when we are ready." She turned and left the chamber.

Omg Stirring Ceremony)
I meant Sorting Ceremony) -
Mike tried to calm his nerves. Was it a test of sorts? What house would he even be in? He desperately wanted to be in a good house, one where he could really shine, but he didn’t know what house that was.
-
Enola held her book to her chest, looking around at the other first-years. She found Michah and stood next to him, not being good at mingling and anything of the sorts.
-
Willow crept up behind them slowly, planning to scare them. But instead, she was the one who jumped. From the floor, a ghost had risen up, with his head nearly severed. He flipped it back right onto his head, gave Willow a strange look, and floated away.
"That-" Willow started, "That was Nearly Headless Nick!!!" She was flabbergasted as she watched the ghost float away. -
Michah tried not to gag as Nearly Headless Nick walked through.
“Ewww.” They said quietly, so that the ghost wouldn’t hear. -
Enola glanced behind her and screamed at the ghost, stumbling backwards in fright. 'Oh my gosh,' she whispered, watching the ghost float away with wide, fearful eyes.
-
"It's fine, they won't hurt you." Willow says."the most they can do is give you the chills if they pass through you... Except for Peeves, the poltergeist. He can move things around."
-
Michah wasn’t sure wether to be amazed or terrified at the fact that a ghost- or poltergeist- could move things around.
-
'Yeah, my uncle told me about him,' Enola squeaked, still trembling, though managed to slightly regain herself.

(i'm not doing that Sorting Hat song, btw- 💀🖐)
At that moment, the headmistress entered the room again. "We are ready for you." She said, fully opening the doors. The students filed in, looking around at the great hall. At the front of the room, on a stool, sat a large brown hat. McGonagall stood behind it, holding a scroll. "i will call out names in alphabetical order. You will be sorted into a house, depending on which the Sorting Hat calls out. Gryffindor, the house of the brave, daring, chivalrous, and heroic. Slytherin, the house of the ambitious, cunning, and resourceful. Ravenclaw, the house of the intelligent, creative, and hardworking. And hufflepuff, the loyal, kind, and honest." She said, and cleared her throat. "Willow Ashbluff!" She called, and Willow stepped up to the hat and placed it on her head. A voice spoke in her head. "Yes, yes. Intelligent, yet loyal and brave at the same time. One trait outshines them all... Better be HUFFLEPUFF!" The voice yelled the last word out to the whole hall. Willow took the hat off and placed it back on the stool, and hurried to the table that was clapping and cheering, a giant grin on her face.
