Mudbud hung from a branch high above the forest floor, invisible to those below. She felt her stomach growl and rippled back to visibility, let go of the branch, and spread her wings to glide through the trees to the main town. -

Dragonfruit was about to start their own adventure. His mother looked at him with teary eyes.
“Please don’t go.” She said in between sniffles.
“I have to.” Dragonfruit said to her, trying to sound cheerful, but he was also sad. He looked down at the small pouch of strawberries in his mother’s hand.
“Oh.” She realized, following his gaze. “Take these.”
“Thank you.” He smiled at her. “I’ll be back soon. I just have to find father first.” -

She touched down on the sprawling treehouse village the rainwings lived in, going over and grabbing some fruit when the vendor wasn't looking, running off quickly. she passed a treehouse, and saw some dragons inside, one holding a pouch. she peeked inside, hopefully unnoticeable, watching the two silently, forgetting to turn invisible. -
(I am, just look, I was trying to be ominous)
“I’ll take care of your kingdom.” His mother said. She wrapped him in her wings gently. He felt her tears sliding down his shoulder.
“I’ll be fine. Just you see!” He said with a chuckle, passing his crown to his mother. He backed up from her and spread his wings. “I’ll be back soon.”
“Goodbye.” She cried. As he took off, he looked back to see her sobbing behind him. -
Mine is probably going to be longer, so I probably won’t have the whole thing here.

Mudbud jerked back from the doorway, turning invisible quickly when she saw the crown. That dragon was King Dragonfruit. she didn't want to cross him by watching him through the doorway
