"That's amazing!" Shiro exclaimed. "I wish I could do that!"

Silph perked up at that. "I could teach you, if you want. Or any instrument really, there are very few I don't know how to play" he said cheerfully

"Yes please!" Shiro said with a soft smile.

Silph nodded in agreement "alright then. " he said before hesitating and holding out the lyre. "Here, holding it so you can reach all the strings but in a comfortable position. Lures are one of those things that it doesn't really matter how you hold them

"Ok." Shiro said taking the lure. He then put himself I a comfortable position.

Silph nodded again "alright, do you know how to read a music score?" He asked, stepping a little closer "if you don't, thats fine, I usually play by the ear anyway.

Shiro nodded. "I can read music score, but not that good."

Silph nodded and then pointed at the strings "I currently have it tuned to the C Major scale, so starting from this" he plucked the longest string "is C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C, D, E, F, G" he said easily, before asking "is there any particular song you want to learn?

Shiro thought for a second. "How about looking at me?"

Silph hummed in thought and then eventually nodded "sure, I can teach you that one." He said, before reaching out and starting to pluck at the strings "you want to use your nails for the plucking, it will make a crisper sound. If you want softer notes, use the pads of you fingers" he explained

Shiro nodded. He then began to play the song. "Like this?"

Silph hummed and carefully corrected him, helping the other play the correct notes. "Yeah. Luckily, Lyres are pretty simple to learn

"Oh. I see now." Shiro said nodding. He then tried to play it again.

Silph continued guiding him through the notes, appearing relaxed and calm. "Thats better. Your learning pretty quickly

"Thanks. I'm a quick learner." Shiro said smiling.
