Colin, despite how clueless he could be, did, in fact know the law. Enough to get by, anyway.
So no matter how much we wanted to, he didn't jaywalk for fear of another setback. He already had to deal with the previous conversation, and he wasn't about to get stuck in another. He just wanted to find Claire at this point.
He checked his map again.
He was getting closer, about 40 yards from her home. -
(forgot to mention, but this whole time, Colin was wearing a brown-ish coat.)

(On his way to her home when she's already at school lol)
Claire walked up the steps of the college building. She had a bit before class actually started. She peeled her eyes for her best friend, Nathan. She wondered where he was, she couldn't find him.
Suddenly someone grabbed her shoulders and she let out a quiet shriek. Claire then heard a very familiar voice laugh at her. She turned around, seeing a very familiar boy with brown hair and bright green eyes. "Don't do that," she breathed out.
"But it's always so funny to watch your reactions," Nathan snickered. -
Colin was still on his way to Claire's home when he tripped and nearly broke his wrist. "AUGH, ******* ****! WHY!" He yelled, though no one paid him any mind. Mostly because he didn't break anything. He got up and continued towards Claire's house.
Though he had a feeling that something was off. just mild feeling. -
"You love seeing the wits shaken out of me?" Claire said with narrowed eyes.
"It's the only way I can beat your wit," Nathan replied with a cheery smile.
Claire couldn't keep her face still in her upset expression for very long before she broke out into a grin similar to Nathan's.
"Come on," she said. "Let's get to class." -
(20 yards)
Another setback. Colin was forced to wait about 5 minutes for a light to turn red so the crosswalk would open up.
(BTW can i change colin's name? I just realized I already have an oc named colin ._.) -
(Yeah go ahead.
(Also you can skim over things and do little time jumps)
"Do we have to?" Nathan whined.
"Yes," Claire said.
"But - "
"No buts," she said as she opened the door. "In you go." -

When he had finally reached Claire's house, he, of course, looked around to ensure nobody was watching. He knocked on her door, expecting her to show up, perhaps confused.
He waited for about 15 minutes. -
