"Oh." Sakura said pausing. Is that my best friend? She thought.

"It - it might have just been my imagination. I often find myself imagining I see her. I'll let you get back to whatever it is you were doing." He said quietly, turning away reluctantly.

"Wait......... I know you. You're Devin!" Sakura purred. "But I don't think you know me."

Devin shook his head. "Sakura? Is it really you?" He asked, looking her up and down. "But... How?"

"What do you mean?" Sakura asked. "Are you surprised?"

"I thought you died." He said quietly. "I- I'm shocked that you are still here! What happened to you?! Where did you go?" Devin asked, looking her over again.

Sakura sighed. "I have a demon inside of me and it made me kill my family so I ran away." She told him. "But yes I'm not dead."

Devin backed away a little. "Oh... Is there any way to get rid of it?" He smiled gently at her.

"No." She said with a sigh. "Well, not to my knowledge anyways."

"Oh. Okay. Well, can we still be friends?" He asked, brushing his bangs back.

"Yeah I guess." Sakura said. She fell and couldn't get up.

Devin kneeled down next to her. "Are- are you okay?" He asked nervously, tapping her cheek gently.

"Y-Yeah." Sakura said as she closed her eyes.

He panicked a little. "Are you sure? We should go somewhere where you can rest..."

Sakura didn't answer his question. Her eyes didn't open.
