(After this, let's drop Dream's group. If you don't mind ... )
Tubbo hummed in curiosity. "What do you mean by that?" He asked quietly.
Wilbur turned to Tubbo. "Shhh, that's not very nice. That's their own personal business. Okay?" He told the young hybrid.
George nodded. He walked towards one of the horses, stroking its muzzle. "Can I ride this one?" He asked.
Skeppy smiled. "Thanks, Dream. That's rather nice of you. Unusually nice." -
(I was ab to say that)
Amy chuckled. "It's alright. So-" Painful memories started to resurface as she began. She beckoned for Tubbo to come over so he could see and hear her better. "Once upon a time, there was a family living in a crowded town. Fights went on, shouting, all the time. People would be afraid to go outside. It was terrible. But, in the midst of all the chaos, a young man and woman met and fell in love. One was a human, the other an Ender woman trying to raise two young boys on her own. The man helped her, and they eventually had a kid together. A little girl. As time went on, they made a promise to one day run away together and raise their family." Amy paused and she pulled off her jacket for the first time in a while. The white cropped top she had on revealed the scars along her arms and back. "But one day, the little girl was trying to make it home from school. Some of the bad guys in the neighborhood attacked her, purely because they thought it'd be funny. The gang gave her scars, both on the inside and out. They left her bleeding." Amy paused and tears started to fall down her face. "Her parents- Her parents came to the rescue. Her father chased the men away, but not before he was hurt very badly. He- Well- He died that day to save his daughter." The Ender's voice faded and she smiled bittersweetly at Tubbo. "Moments before he passed away, he gave her his leather jacket." She pointedly grabbed her oversized jacket and took a shaky breath. "He knew it would always be too big for her, but he wanted her to have it anyways."
Ranboo's eyes filled with tears as he remembered his stepfather. He looked proudly at his sister, who had turned a traumatic story into a sort of fairytale for a kid. It was amazing and bittersweet. He shifted his gaze to Tuboo and it lingered there for a moment too long.
Tommy put the pieces of her story together and his own eyes filled with tears. "Wow..." He mumbled. -
Tubbo stared at Amy wide eyed. "Really? That's interesting. Are these what the scars look like? Is that what you are? An Ender?"
Techno frowned. He could understand that this story was real. It was the Enders' past.
Wilbur couldn't keep the tears out of his eyes. This girl was beautiful, hot even, but that story ... It was real. That was her story and it was depressing. -
"Absolutely, kid!" Amy tried to sound optimistic, but her voice was strained and tears still streamed down her face. She smiled at the hybrid as she put her father's jacket back on. "The girl's mother passed away months later, she got terribly sick. Her kids did their best to keep her alive... but- but it wasn't enough. She told them to always be true to who they were. A-And I think they have."
Ranboo was a bundle of mixed emotions. He felt sorrow and happiness at the mention of his parents, hatred at their current situation, and a sort of butterflies whenever he looked at Tubbo.
Tommy wiped the tears from his eyes a moment before turning his gaze to Ranboo. He smiled slightly. -
Tubbo tilted his head to the side. "Oh. Is that your story about your family?" He asked, wiping her tears away. He looked over at Ranboo and flushed a deep red.
Wilbur sighed. "I'm sorry. I can relate. My parents died similarly." He covered his mouth when ne realized what he just said. Tommy wasn't supposed to know about that yet.
Techno bit his lip. "That's ... horrible." He said quietly. "I never knew my parents." -
Amy nodded and smiled gratefully at Tubbo and then looked at Ranboo. 'Youre obsessed' She mouthed. She wiped more of her tears away.
Ranboo scowled and turned red as well.
"W-Wait, What!?" Tommy exclaimed as he looked up at Wil in horror. -
Tubbo turned to look at Techno. "You didn't know your parents?"
Techno shook his head. "They died shortly after I was born. Or so I'm told. My friend, Dingoe, was forced to forget his parents."
Wilbur swallowed nervously. "I'm sorry, Tom. You weren't supposed to know yet. But our father..." Wil choked up, starting to cry. "He died in a fire, trying to save you. He got you out, but didn't make it himself. Mom died when you were 3. I'm sorry, Tommy. I was going to tell you later." -
"I- He-" Tommy mumbled, starting to cry as well. "S-So it's my fault!?"
Amy gasped and jumped up from the couch. Despite still being dizzy, she moved over and wiped Tommy's tears away. She could feel his pain, it was the same as her own. "No no no- You can't blame yourself for that. He did his job as a parent, okay?" She said gently.
Ranboo didn't really know where to help, so he turned his attention to Techno and Tubbo. "Wow..." He mumbled. -
Tubbo frowned. "Why would anyone force another person, or a child, to forget their family?"
Techno shrugged. "I don't know. But my other friend, .Dream, never talks about his family. I believe that he was abandoned and knows it. He just doesn't want to talk about it. It's fine. We have each other and think of each other as family."
Wilbur moved towards Tommy. "Tom, that's not true. He tried to save himself and you, bud, but his wounds were too severe." -
"You've gotta deal with the hand you've been dealt, I suppose." Ranboo said bittersweetly.
Tommy nodded and sighed. He understood what they were saying and wiped his own tears.
Amy stood and smiled encouragingly at Tommy. "It's not your fault. There's truly nothing you could have done differently." -
Tubbo smiled weakly. "I see. That makes sense. I don't remember my family. Whick is upsetting. Maybe if we hadn't lost our families our livea would be different. Bit that wouldn't make me happy. I like this life I have."
Techno frowned. "That's a lot of wisdom for an 8-year-old. But I have to agree."
Wilbur sighed. "Maybe you should take us to the king of Manberg. Then we can stop speculating about what will happen and deal with the truth." -
Ranboo nodded and looked down in admiration at the kid. He couldn't help but smile. He felt his face redden and he looked away quickly.
Amy stumbled back slightly and accidentally ran into Wilbur. "AHH-" She exclaimed.
Tommy chuckled at both situations. AAAAAAANNNNNNNNDDDDDDD Here we go. Love lives all around -
Tubbo sighed, his eyes fixing on Ranboo. He walked forwards toward the boy. "I like you. I really like you. But I think that Wil's right. We should go with you back. I hate the suspense of waiting for the worst. I just want it over!!!"
Techno stood. "Maybe we should go, Ranboo. That way Schlatt doesn't assume you and Amy defied him and kill your sibling."
Wilbur glanced down at Amy. "Ummm, hi. You - you, um, well, I -I ..." -
Ranboo's breath hitched and he looked down at Tubbo. His face turned bright red and all he could do was nod.
Tommy heard Tubbo's declaration and smiled. "Awww-"
Amy truly looked up at the tall boy for the first time. She met his eyes and her heart skipped a beat. "H-Hi! Sorry- Sorry I bumped into you I-I'm still k-kinda dizzy-" -
Tubbo smiled. "Can I give you a hug before we go? Don't be embarrassed, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
Techno smiled as he watched the others. "Oh, Ranboo, he likes you!!!!!"
Wilbur nodded. "No, that's - that's comple - completely fine. Don't - don't worry about it."
