(it's okay. i think im on the verge of an autistic breakdown because everything just got louder and brighter. i don't like it...)
Karl went pale. "I- I'm sorry." He whispered. "I've been trying my best. You look like him." He said quietly. But I've been doing better. I know who you are. I - I know I can't control who I forget, but I can do my best to keep myself from forgetting you." He whispered. "ANd you're someone I never want to forget." -
(maybe you could go for a break in the bathroom?)
Sapnap smiled a little. "I know. It just freaks me out sometimes." -
(the lights are fluorescent and i can hear them buzzing no matter what. i might need to just take a break and stay away from people later today. even typing sounds loud...)
Karl smiled softly. "Hey, it'll be fine. I'm sorry I've called you James before." He mumbled. He had gaps he couldn't fill in his memory, but for some reason, every time he called Sapnap James, it stuck. -
(that fair Fenrir. breaks can be good!)
"It's okay, I know you didn't mean it," Sapnap smiled weakly. -
(i know they can. but i'm hoping that things will get better once im allowed my headphones again.)
Karl frowned. "No, it's not okay, is it?" He said. "That look says you're worried it'll happen again. I- I never even told you who James was." He mumbled. -
(yeah, that will probably help!)
"Yeah," Sapnap said, raising his eyebrows and bobbing his head to the side for a second. "I kinda assumed it was someone you met while time-traveling, but I thought you were like.. cheating on me in the beggining. But I couldn't ask because you'd never remember." -
(hopefully it will...)
Karl sighed. "He was someone I met. But I- I would never cheat on you. Not purposefully. I- I remember what happened with him perfectly." He mumbled. -
(i think it will! you’re so strong :))
Sapnap frowned. “That’s what I’m scared of. That you’ll remember versions of me… I guess.. from your time traveling better than me.” -
(my friend made me go to the nurse. im not sure it'll fix anything.)
Karl frowned. "I'm sorry, Sap. I do try to remember you." He whispered, clasping his hands together. He squeezed his wedding band tight and sighed. "I try, I really do." -
(hey, it might be a good step, though)
“I know, I just..” Sapnap paused, glancing at Karl’s hands. “Can’t help myself from worrying sometimes.” -
(yeah, maybe. i feel worse laying down though...)
Karl teared up. "Still, I'm sorry, Sap. I shouldn't give you a reason to worry about me." He whispered, squeezing his ring again. -
(then try sitting up?)
Sapnap frowned. “I always worry about you, Karl. I want what’s best for you. And what’s best for us.” -
(don, you okay?)

Karl dropped his eyes, pulling his hands back into his hoodie and covering his face with his sleeves. "I'm sorry." He whispered. -
(hey, it’s ok! what happened?)
Sapnap frowned. “I love you. That’s why I worry. It just means I care. There’s no reason to be sorry.”
