Sapnap shrugged. “I had a feeling.”
“I love you too,” Skeppy whispered, resting his head on Bads shoulder. -
Quackity flinched. "I'm sorry." He mumbled. "I'm - it's a stupid reason why I'm so tense. I'm fine." He said, trying to hide the fact that his voice trembled slightly as he said sorry.
Karl put the brush down. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked softly. "You can tell us."
Bad smiled at Skeppy. "We've been gone awhile. Think Gold is up yet?" He asked. -
“Yeah, if you’re not okay, it’s never stupid,” Sapnap said softly.
Skeppy thought for a second. “Probably. We should’ve told Lem to go be with him in case he has a nightmare or something.” -
Quackity shook his head. "No. I'm fine. It's nothing. I'm fine." He swallowed. He wasn't doing a good job reassuring his husbands, he could tell.
Karl frowned. "You flinched when you apologized. You don't flinch unless you're upset." He whispered.
Bad nodded. "Yeah, that would've been a good idea. He knows where we went though, and hopefully, he doesn't have any nightmares." -
“Hon, please talk to us,” Sapnap said softly. “I hate seeing you upset.”
“He barely even woke up when I told him we were leaving, though,” Skeppy mumbled, worried about Gold. -
Quackity flared his wings out. He swallowed again, but it didn't do enough this time. His breath hitched and he whimpered quietly. "I'm so f**king stupid." He mumbled. "You can see through me. I hate that. I'm jealous of you two."
Karl tilted his head. "Jealous? Jealous of us? Why?"
Bad nodded. "You're right. He was barely awake." He mumbled. "Well, I'm sure he's fine." -
“Hey, you’re not stupid, what’s wrong,” Sapnap said, frowning deeply.
“Yeah, I’m just worried about him,” Skeppy whispered. -
Quackity sobbed. "I'm jealous!" He sobbed. "You've had everything given to you, or right there! You had the better hand in life!" He whimpered. "I got abandoned, abused, you name it! You have had it better than me! I want that!"
Karl frowned. "I can't tell you what my childhood was like. I can't remember. But there is no reason for you to be jealous of us."
Bad nodded. "I know. So am I." He mumbled. -
“Yeah, Quackity, I’ve had s--- happen to me my whole life. Probably not as bad as you, but it still happened,” Sapnap stated. “But all the crap that’s happened, we’re still here right here, right now. And we love you so much. And you will never be abused or abandoned ever again.”
Skeppy let out a shaky sigh, rubbing his eyes again. “This arm feels a little better,” He held up his right arm. -
Quackity whimpered. He hid his face in Sapnap's neck, starting to cry. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed." He sobbed.
Karl hugged Quackity tight. "It's okay, love. It's okay."
Bad smiled. "Hey, that's good! I'm glad!" -
“No, Quackity honey it’s okay, I understand,” Sapnap whispered. “Your life has been terrible, and you didn’t deserve any of it.”
“Yeah,” Skeppy nodded, inspecting his arm a little bit. -
Quackity sniffled, shaking his head. "I'm sorry. I'm- I'm sorry." He switched to Spanish and started mumbling about how he messed it up.
Karl nodded. "Love, hey, shhh, no. You don't need to apologize. It's okay." He reassured his husband gently.
Bad smiled. "So it's helping! That's wonderful!" He cried. "See? No shots." He whispered gently. -
“No, love, there no need for you to apologize, it’s okay,” Sapnap pleaded quietly, squeezing Quackity’s hand.
Skeppy smiled shakily, frowning a bit at even just the mention of shots. -
Quackity nodded. "O-okay." He mumbled, trying to muffle his sobs and calm down. He rubbed his eyes, hiccuping softly.
Karl squeezed Quackity tight. "We love you." He whispered.
Bad frowned. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. It's okay." He reassured. -
“It’s okay love, you can let it all out, you can cry,” Sapnap whispered, hugging Quackity gently.
“It’s okay,” Skeppy said softly, leaning on Bad.
