Skeppy jumped, turning his head to see Gold. "What? What's up?" He called, stopping and turning fully.
Dream heard the yelling aswell, stopping and turning. -
"They need you guys back in L'man - um, Manberg. Technoblade and Wilbur have an idea on what to do with the country." Gold panted, looking from Skeppy to Dream.
Bad raised his eyebrows. "How'd you find us so quick?" He asked. Gold just pointed up. "Oh, my horns." Bad sighed. -
"Why do they need us?" Dream muttered, furrowing his eyebrows. "Fine, let's go," He said, turning and heading back.
Skeppy frowned, watching Dream before reluctantly following. -
"They want all the leaders. You're a leader, right?" Gold asked, a mocking tone creeping into his voice.
George turned and looked at Gold. "Did you just mock Dream?" -
"I could kill you in a heartbeat if I wanted to," Dream said, freezing. "Just like Technoblade did with your family," He said, drawing a thumb over his neck in one swift motion. "Don't test me," He added, patting his axe as he continued walking back.
-
Gold's face twitched. He curled his lip and snorted. He started to speak, but then bit his lip. He tensed, brought himself to his full height, which even then he barely touched 5 feet, and tossed his head. He shoved passed the others and stalked haughtily past Dream. "I'd like to see you try." He muttered under his breath, just loud enough for Dream to hear.
-
"As if," Dream said with a chuckle, continuing to walk back to Manburg.
-
Gold snorted, this time louder and broke into a run. He beat the others to the gate and climbed back up onto the roof of the closest house to the gates. He sat on the ridge, waiting for the others to reach the gate.
Bad looked at Skeppy, slowing down and waiting for him. "I'm sorry I got mad earlier. You did nothing wrong." Bad sighed, gently taking Skeppy's hand in his.
George looked up at Dream. "Did you really mean that threat? That you would kill Gold?" He asked, looking after the smaller boy as he ran away. -
"It's fine, I get it," Skeppy said with a shrug.
"Just to show not to f--- with me," Dream explained, looking up as they reached the gates. He headed for the stage, Technoblade smiling as he made eye contact. -
Gold hopped from roof to roof, finally landing at the stage. He swung down, landing gently next to Quackity and Lemon. "I did as you asked." He said, speaking to Techno, but looking at Wilbur.
Wilbur nodded. "I see that."
"I'm just a mean muffinhead. How do you love me, Skeppy?" Bad sighed, dropping his gaze. He stared at the ground, expecting a negative reply from Skeppy. -
"Good," Technoblade said with a nod, watching as Dream left the rest of his group and made his way to the stage.
"I love you a lot," Skeppy explained, the smile on his face growing. "With my whole heart, too." -
"Really?" Bad asked. "But - but why? What have I done to make you love me?" Bad doubted Skeppy more each minute. He wasn't absolutely sure why though.
"Dream! Good, you're here. I have an idea on what we should do with Manberg. Actually it was Technoblade's idea." Wilbur says, looking the dirty blonde boy directly in his face.
Gold snorted. "Since when does Technoblde ever have a good idea?" He muttered under his breath. -
"You've just been you're amazing, adorable self!" Skeppy said.
"So what is it?" Dream asked, reaching a hand up and making sure his mask was on securely.
Technoblade heard Gold's comment and bit back a comeback of his own. -
"Wha-what?" Bad asked, shocked. "You mean you love me for everything I do?"
Wilbur chuckled at Dream. "I want to make Manberg a place of peace. A place where others who need shelter and want to stay away from war can come and be safe. No more dictatorships, or evil presidents." Wilbur said, waving his hand at the blood stains on the stage. "Instead, somewhere at ease. But the only problem is who we let rule this place. Do you have any ideas?" He asked, addressing Dream and the other leaders.
Quackity shrugged and pointed to Tubbo. "Maybe him? He did a good job before."
"Wait, Quackity, did you just compliment Tubbo? The very same Tubbo you've previously insulted?" Gold asked, raising his eyebrows incredulously. -
"Bingo," Skeppy said with a chuckle, smiling.
"Oh, no, I couldn't," Tubbo said, shaking his head. "I didn't do great last time, I exiled Tommy-" He paused for a moment. "Maybe Tommy could? He'd probably be the least likely to become an evil dictator."
"But he'd be the most immature," Dream stated.
