Saraiyah stared intensely at Ghost, humming softly. "I think he's a big year old," she whispered, before jumping when the loud sound rang throughout the daycare. She pressed her hands against her ears, shaking. "What was that?"

"it's caramel. My grandma called them Wertherns" Neil said extending his hand with the candy.

"I don't know, play ball or something?" Aaron suggested, looking at a nearby ball.

Oscar jumped at the noise, his eyes wide. "I-I hope that was j-just nothing…" he shook his head, trying to get rid of the ringing in his ears. "M-Maybe he knows what t-that was?"
Kayla flinched at the loud noise, but other than that she wasn't bothered. She crawled closer and took the candy. "Thanks! Uh, what's your name? I'm Kayla!" She chirped, eyeing the caramel before shoving it in her mouth.
Ghost stepped out of the desk area, walking over to the entrance of the daycare and peeking out quickly. No one was there, thankfully, but he shut the doors and dimmed the lights a little bit out of caution. -
"my name is Neil." Neil said. He was contemplating getting another candy before the lights dimmed slightly.
