Cryosleep.
After the news of the bombs, those lucky enough rushed to their underground pods, being put into a state like cryosleep. Many years pass by, and the world above is in ruin.
They all awaken at different intervals...different times. Many, at first, unable to survive. Either coming out way too soon, starving, or just being killed by the animals above ground.
It has been almost 300 years since this happened. We awaken at the same time, from different areas. Will we be able to survive what lies above us? Only time will tell.

Appearance: Standing 5' 1" tall, with olive skinned. A particularly notable feature is her misleading appearance; she looks older than she really is, and she has a scar on her left cheek which she never talks about.
She has a long face, a hooked nose, and very thin lips. Her blue eyes are big and she has thin eyebrows.
She has shoulder-length, black hair which is neat.

Conciousness slowly came to Gabriella, who rested within the pod that she was in. A rather tight space, which she was never a big fan of, but it was either that or death for her. As she opened her eyes, her vision was rather blurry. What's to be expected after being closed for hundreds of years though, right? Groaning as her vision slowly began to improve, and the pod door opened up for her.
"Where am i?" She asked herself, taking a step out, only to fall down onto her knees. She looked up, and around. Most of the others had already been opened and left before her, but how long ago was that?
She shook her head gently, resting. Remembering what had happened. -
Emily was nervous about what was going to come of her. She walked passed a girl and walked up to her to ask where to go. "Hello? I am Emily," she said

Gabriella soon got the strength to stand, slowly coming up to her feet. Having to use the wall temporarily though to not fall back down. She didn't know what to expect when she exited and went outside. Was it even time? Could she even breathe if she went up? She wasn't sure, but she couldn't fo back now.

Emily started talking to thin air. She didn't know she was hallucinating until she heard laughter. What's going to come out of her out of this incident? Is she going to be okay? She had no clue.
