The year is 3000, and so many things have changed. Some good, some bad. After the third World War, despite their victory against the opposition, America's economy was severely crippled to where they couldn't recoup the costs involved with the war. Not only that, several states have become uninhabitable due to a nuclear strike in the northern part of the states. So, the US government struck a deal with Tokyo based corporation Ishizuka in the hopes of rebuilding their economy. A good idea at the time but it eventually morphed into something terrible. Now, unless you work for the government or Ishizuka, you will find life very hard. Poverty rates are at an all time high all across the country, most of the police force is corrupt and those that aren't are unable to help if the perp in question is one that works for either and if you even bad mouth the Ishizuka, they will make you disappear off the face of the earth. On the bright side, cyberware enhancements are available to anyone who can afford them, which can allow the average person to be as strong as a gorilla and an expert hacker for a few thousand yen. One gang has decided that the corps and gov need a change. They call themselves Piraka, and they are responsible for taking down several important constructs to both and spreading the message of freedom from Ishizuka. The media labels them as terrorists, but the common people see them as heroes. On the run, the Piraka aim to take down the American HQ of Ishizuka to cripple their hold on the government and help all to be free.
Members of Piraka:
C1-The Snake. Leader of the Piraka and the person who created it. Has a grudge against Ishizuka.
C2-The Bully. Second-in-Command and C1's best friend. Helped co-create the Piraka.
C3-The Beast. The muscle of the Piraka, Former heavyweight boxing champion.
C4-The Tracer. Tech and hacking expert for the Piraka. High IQ and expert inventor.
C5-The Drifter. Street-wise negotiator for the Piraka. Knows the best places to hid.
C6-The Trigger. Weapons expert. Makes special modifications to whatever is needed.

There is a turn order so get used to it.
This roleplay does take place in a cyberpunk kind of world. It has nothing to do with Cyberpunk 2077, but the world is similar.

Backstory: Duncan was a fine person with a good life. His father worked for Ishizuka at one of the high positions. However, his father was worked basically to death every day. One day, his father quit his job but Ishizuka decided he knew too much from his position. Thus they came in and hunted his father down. Duncan saw his father and mother restrained to the floor and shot, execution style. When he went to the police, they couldn't do anything because it was Ishizuka. Duncan swore revenge after this so that no one would have to live under this oppression.
