Karl came around the car, walking over to them and grabbing Nick's hand.
"Alright, enough with the sappy stuff, let's go inside," George said with a chuckle, grabbing Clay's hand and starting to walk over to the door. -
Clay rolled his eyes and chuckled, gently squeezing his hand and following George. Nick followed Karl inside, staring at the house anxiously.

Once inside, George stared at the plethora of Christmas decorations littered around it. The brunette chuckled, letting go of Clay's hand, continuing to look around.
Karl glanced over at Nick, squeezing his hand gently as they followed the other couple inside. -
“Clay!” A voice exclaimed, rushing over to the dirty blonde male.
Clay looked over, a smile growing on his face. “Joey, hey? How’ve you been?”
”I’m good, I’m good,” Joey responded with a smile. “How’ve you been?”
”Pretty good,” Clay replied with a chuckle, crossing his arms. -
(AH HOLD UP- clicked enter too soon :’))
“You got a girlfriend yet??“ Joey asked, raising an eyebrow and smirking.
”No, but I do have a boyfriend,” Clay said with a chuckle, gesturing towards George.
“Damn, good for you, Clay,” Joey said with a chuckle. He looked over Clay’s shoulder, spotting Karl and Nick. “Nick! Hey, how’ve you been?”
Nick froze, feigning a smile. “Uh, good,” he replied quietly, staying close by Karl’s side. -
George smiled, waving slightly before looking behind him to Nick and Karl when Joey addressed them.
"Hey, you okay?" Karl asked Nick quietly, looking over to the ravenette. -
“Yeah uhm, I’m- I’m gonna go get a drink,” Nick replied, letting go of Karl’s hand and walking off.
”Well, seems like he hasn’t gotten over it,” Joey mumbled with a small frown, watching Nick walk off. “Anyways, I’m guessing you’re Nick’s boyfriend,” he added, smiling warmly at Karl. “Nice to meet you~” -
"Yeah, I am," Karl said with a smile. "Nice to meet you too," He said, looking behind Joey, watching Nick as he disappeared out of his line of sight.
George walked off, continuing to explore the over-decorated house. -
”Alrighty, I’m gonna let you guys enjoy the party. Drinks and food are just in the next room and you can pretty much just explore the place,” Joey said with a shrug, looking around. “Outside there’s a big screen playing Hallmark, because I like to make people cringe, and there’s corn hole and other games. Have fun~” Joey walked off, smiling.
“Yep, same old Joey,” Clay said with a chuckle, watching the shorter male walk off. -
Karl nodded slowly, walking off to find Nick.
George continued to wander, grabbing a drink and starting to mingle with a few other people there. -
Clay walked off, getting a drink and chatting with other familiar people he saw. Nick stood off to the side, watching people chatting and walking by as he silently drank from his cup.

Karl grabbed a drink, looking around and finding Nick. "Hey Nick," He said with a smile, walking over to him.

Nick looked over at Karl, a small smile on his face. “Hi,” he said quietly, taking another sip of his drink.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Karl asked, tilting his head slightly. "You're being really quiet,"

“Yeah, I’m- I’m fine,” Nick replied, glancing down at the floor.
Clay looked over, frowning. He walked over to Karl and Nick, smiling hesitantly. “Everything good, Nick?”
”Yes, I’m f—king fine, just quit asking me if I’m okay,” Nick said bluntly, shooting a glare at Clay.
