Devon stood in front of the TV, playing a video game while Laughing Jack sat behind him, watching him.; Currently he was playing Demon's Souls and trying to beat the Tower Knight. He's failed several times and LJ was snickering at him.
(I only just realized having two people named Jack is going to be a nightmare. But oh well, we're in it now.) -
EJ sighed, pulling his hood down and running his fingers through his hair

Drowned turned her head swiftly as she heard a noise nearby. She narrowed her eyes from under her hair, grabbing Crying's arm and pulling them behind a tree.
"I heard someone." She whispered quietly to the winged genderfluid, who made a low growling noise. -
E.J paused, hearing someone's voice, "is anyone there?" He asked waiting for a response

Drowned stays silent, narrowing her eyes at the person. C.S., on the other hand, has managed to climb the tree without making any noise. Then again, Crying Soul is a spirit, so it made more sense. -
