When Nico was born his mother took it upon herself to raise him on her own. She believed that she didn’t a lying man like her ex to be around in Nico’s life and she was right. Nico turned perfectly fine without his father in the picture though it hadn’t stopped him from wondering who his father was. As a kid he’d always wished for the same thing which was to have his dad show up to a birthday party but he had soon became aware that birthday wishes were total waste of time time as they never came true so he stopped making wishes and just blew the candles out. After high school he had enlisted in the military and then years later he got honorably discharged and is now currently a bodyguard.

Nico had gotten ready for the day. Nice suit good shoes his gun. He combed his hair neatly before heading over to Riley’s room to wait outside. If the kid didn’t come out within a few minutes he’d knock on the door to at least to make sure they were up.

Riley hummed as they got themself ready, doing their hair and getting dressed. They pulled on their boots, running a hand through their short, blonde hair before walking over to their bedroom door, opening it. They looked up and yelped, seeing Nico standing outside. ``Jesus, startled me for a second,`` they said, clutching a hand over their heart.
(question, do you want to do romance or no? if so then i'll change her age to like, 23 or smth) -

Nico smirked slightly “Firstly Relax. Secondly are you going to be eating here or are you going to be eating out?” He asked he moved out of Riley’s way -

``I was gonna go meet up with some friends for coffee,`` they replied, reaching behind the door and grabbing a jacket before closing it, walking out. -
He nodded “Where’s the meet up happening at?” Nico walked right next to them throughout the halls of the central building.

``Just at the Starbucks a few minutes away,`` Riley added, pulling out their phone. ``Abbey said she and Briar were gonna meet me there so I figured I'd maybe walk, since it's only a few minutes away. And I would drive, but my dad took away my keys.`` They paused, for a moment before continuing walking. ``Don't ask why.``
