ALRIGHTY JUNE
here's some plots
neighboring enemies-
C1 moved all the way over from America to London, England because of their parent/s getting a job opportunity there. It made C1 kind of upset. They had a great life back in their hometown, with good friends, a decent school, even a s/o. Until they broke up because they knew long distance would be a pain in the a--.
So, now C1 lives in London, knowing absolutely no one. Well, except for their British neighbor, C2. But, let's just say, they didn't get off on the right foot. The moment they met, simple passive-aggressive comments. One thing led to another, then came arguments and fights.
That wasn't the only thing that came from the two meeting. Feelings, some very complicated sh-t, came into play. Confusion and romance. What will happen? WhO kNoWs? ( jesus why is this so cringey? :') )
100 days of sunlight-
When 16-year-old poetry blogger C1 is involved in a car accident and loses their eyesight for 100 days, they feel like their whole world has been turned upside-down.
Terrified that their vision might never return, C1 feels like they has nothing left to be happy about. But when their grandparents place an ad in the local newspaper looking for a typist to help C1 continue writing and blogging, an unlikely answer knocks at their door: C1, a person their age with bright eyes, an optimistic smile. . . and no legs.
Knowing how angry and afraid C1 is feeling, C2 thinks they can help them. But they have one condition: no one can tell C1 about their disability. And because they can’t see them, C1 treats them with contempt — screaming at C2 to get out of their house and never come back. But for C2, it’s the most amazing feeling: to be treated like a normal person, not just a sob story. So they comes back. Again and again and again.
C1 spurns C2’s “obnoxious optimism”, convinced that they has no idea what their going through. But C2 knows exactly how they feel and reaches into their darkness to show them that there is more than one way to experience the world. As C1 grows closer to C2, they finds it harder and harder to imagine life without them — and C2 can’t imagine life without them. But they still haven’t told them the truth, and when C1’s sight returns they’ll have to make the hardest decision of their life: vanish from C1’s world. . . or overcome their fear of being seen.
no one deserves to disappear-
C1 stood at the foot of a tall oak tree, staring up at it. They silently grabbed a branch and pulled them up, climbing. One foot after the other. One branch then to another. Climbing higher, higher, higher. C1 one reaches near the top, debating whether to climb back down, or just, let go. That urge won, and they "fell", ending it all.
But it didn't end. C1 lied on the grassy ground, their arm numb and broken. They open their eyes for a moment to see someone standing above them. The pain overcame C1 and they slipped into unconsciousness, just before feeling arms wrap around them and pick them up.
"What're you laughing at?"
I'm laughing? Yes, out of fear. "I-"
"You think I'm a freak?"
"No,-"
"I'm not the freak. You're the f--king freak."
I'm sitting on the floor, looking up at C2. The imfamous "school shooter" pushed down the world's probably most anxious and lonely kid. There was fear in their eyes, though. The fear I feel. Guess I'm not all that alone.
C1 sat in the computer lab, printing out something. He stands, seeing C2, infamous bad kid, reach for the paper. C2 turns to C1 and they stare at each other, realization hitting them. That's why they're so familiar.
"Is this yours? Dear Y/n L/n?"
"Y-Yes?"
They pause, reading the paper. "And then there's S/n, who I don't know and doesn't even know me."
Silence resonates in the room before C2 speaks up again. "You're talking about my sibling."
"Wh-What? N-No, it's-"
"You wrote this because you knew I'd freak out. Think I'll go crazy and you can tell everyone I went ballistic."
"No, th-that wasn't what th-this was-"
"You know what? F--k you, Y/n L/n."
C2 runs off and C1 stands, watching. They weren't going to do anything, but, C2 has the letter. They have to get it back. C1 finds themself running, soon catching up to C2.
