Cyd waved back, a small smile on her face. ``God, how much sleep did you get?`` She asked Sam, chuckling as she shut her notebook.

Sam looked at her feet sheepishly, her hair falling in front of her face. "I stopped counting at this point, but definitely not enough." She said, looking back up with a slight grin on her face.

Cyd chuckled, running a hand through her hair. ``I can tell,`` she said, standing. ``Why don't you try taking meds or something so you can sleep better? Maybe that'll help.``

"That's something I'll have to look into." She said, nodding at the idea. Sam then sighed deeply, moving her messy hair out of her face. "Will we be dealing with another day of hell, or no?"

``Nah. I heard there's a new student so I was thinkin' about staying, or for at least a few classes,`` Cyd replied, putting her journal in their bag. ``I wonder what they're like.``

Amy turned around in her car and found two girls by the tree. She rolled down her window and looked at them. "Hey you need a ride?" She asked as she took out her own and notepad to write down the things she needs.

``Uh, no, we're good,`` Cyd said, looking over to the girl in the car. She flushed red, seeing how pretty she was. ``We-We were just uh, just about to head- head inside.`` She pointed into the direction of the school, almost dropping her journal.

Sam looked over at the girl, then back at Cyd. She looked a little red, which made the tired girl raise her eyebrows.

"Ok. See you later." Amy said as she went to park her car in the school parking lot. She went inside and put her hood on her head, trying to disguise herself. She headed to her locker to put her stuff down. She then headed to the principal's office to sign in.

Cyd smiled, watching the car drive away. She shook her head, the redness fading. ``Wait, do you think that's the new student?`` She asked aloud, looking over to Sam.

Sam watched the girl go towards the parking lot before answering. "Possibly. I mean, I've never seen that girl before." She moved the straps on her backpack, feeling a little jealous. Sam had a feeling that her best friend had a crush on the new girl.

``Well, let's go to torture, shall we?`` Cyd said with a chuckle, gesturing to the school building.

Amy sighed as she went to her first class. She waited untill Cyd and Sam came so she could introduce herself to them. She decided to sit in the hall and wait.

Sam nodded silently, shaking her head and grinning. "Let's go then!" She said, grabbing Cyd's arm and pulling her towards the entrance.
