Ross grabbed his bag and stood, walking over to where Nico sat. Het waited for Jenna to walk off before taking her seat, sitting beside Nico. “So, you have any ideas for the project?”

"I mean," Nico began, opening his small black binder that was worn and torn with age and flipping lazily through the frayed pages. "I have a few but they all suck."
(wait what subject are they doing-) -
( uh, history? yea, history lol )
Ross nodded, running a hand through his curly brown hair. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, glancing over at Nico’s binder. “Let’s just do something short and easy. It’ll be easier and it’s not like we have to get an A.” -

"K," He replied. "Uhhh what if we wrote about a movement? It could be BLM, People With Disabilities Movements, LGBTQ+ Movements..." he mumbled the last one he listed and regretted saying it but he hoped that Ross wouldn't notice. He probably did though. Ugh, he was so stupid. Stupid, Stupid... -
``Hm, we could do the LGBTQ+ movement,`` Ross said with a shrug. ``We could talk about like, what kids and teens deal with, like having unsupportive family members or something like that.``

Nico stiffened. Yeah, yeah he did hear that.
He shrugged. "Okay, sure," he responded. "Sooo how do we wanna go about this?" -
``Uh, maybe ask people what their experience is like? Like, interview people in the class or somethin'?``

"Uh, sure," he said. Looking over to Ross, he pursed his lips. "Who should we start with?"

``Uh- Ooh, what about Erin?`` Ross said, gesturing to the short blonde loudly chatting to their partner. ``They're bi, I think. We could talk to them.``

"Oh, that sounds good. Let's go," Nico said. He began heading over to them, tense yet relaxed.

``Hey, Erin! Can we talk for a bit?`` Ross asked.
They looked over, smiling at Ross. ``Sure, what about?``
``We just wanted to ask you a few questions for our project.``

After Ross and Nico had interviewed a few other students, Nico sat back down and shuffled through the papers they had that recorder the interviews. "Okay, that's done," he commented. -
Ross nodded, sitting down. ``That went pretty well, if I do say so myself,`` he said with a smile.

"Why yes, yes it did," he said, crossing his arms and smiling every so softly.
