He slowly blinked his eyes closed, appearing to be fighting it but soon lost, slipping into slumber

She smiled as she covered it up with her special quilt. "Goodnight Star." She said as she left.

Star woke up several hours later, whining quietly to see if his new friend was there.

"Hello there sleepyhead." A voice said. It was Mari said as she let the small furry thing.

Star thrilled happily, leaning into her hand

"aw...." Mari said as she continuesly pet Star.

Star squinted his eyes as he purred happily, his tails wagging

Mari laughed.

Star paused when he heard her laugh, before smiling brightly "pretty sound!

"Thanks." Mari said with a smile.

Star giggled softly sounding happy
