Sophia started singing again. “If this doesn’t work, I’m just gonna skip it and get the soul.” she thought. She held Maedal back from pouncing and hid.

“Well, can it wait for when I’m NOT in the middle of a hunt? If you want to talk at least be more quiet about it.” Sophia whispered angrily, peering out at Victoria and resuming her song.

She growled and dug her fingers into the haybale she was gripping. She flew an inch above it and thought, “Why the heck isn’t it working?” She scowled.

"Maybe because your dumb…" 6 mumbled uncontrollably, its eyes turning black before going back to normal. "Huh?"

Sophia growled. “EXCUSE ME?!” she whisper-shouted. “Geez, maybe I’ll take your soul too after this!” Maedal growled at 6.

Sophia kicked them, turned around, and faced toward them. “Don’t play dumb, little—“ She was interrupted by Maedal, who was about to pounce on 6 and made an angry barking noise. “Fine.” She allowed Maedal to scratch 6.
