also, here's sort of like the plot i had in mind.
C1 and C2 are roommates/flatmates who hate/despise each other but they end up bonding over something (rude neighbor and/or landlord) then become friends and maybe more if romance is involved.

Evan sat in the living room of the apartment he lived in, working away on his laptop. He groaned quietly, setting his laptop to the side. He stood and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a cup and filling it. He took a sip and pulled out his phone, seeing messages flow in from the landlord. He exhaled, setting the cup down. ``Cara, did y-you pay your half o-of rent?`` Evan called out. -
“Yeah, I payed it earlier,” Cara called out to Evan as she sat at her easel, improv painting on a later, blank canvas.

``You did?`` Evan added, running a hand through his hair. ``Well, I-I paid my half- O-Or maybe I didn't.. Sh-t, I-I thought I did,`` he muttered worriedly, grabbing an envelope. He opened it up, seeing the rent money. ``A-And I didn't..`` He sighed, walking out of the apartment and going to pay rent.

Cara chuckled rather loudly as she painted. Then she accidentally pushed too hard on her canvas and broke her brush- crap.

Evan came back to see Cara's canvas fall and let out a chuckle, walking back to his laptop.
