He sits in the driver seat, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel in time to a fast-paced song on the radio. His charge seems to be running late again.
-
He rushes out the door and toward the car, brushing his hair back out of his face. The air outside is a bit chilly, and even through his thick fur coat, it chills him.
-
He perks up when he notices King approaching, getting out of the car and smiling at the smaller man.
"Hey." he says, opening the passenger side door and holding it for him. -
He smiles back at Layton, soft, as he brushes past him to get in the car. He seems to hesitate, one leg still out the door, and tugs gently on the sleeve of Layton's hoodie.
-
"Yeah?"
-
He grins, moving his hand further up Layton's arm and tugging again, harder.
"I missed you all day. You won't even give me a kiss?" -
He looks troubled, seeming to think about it for a moment before responding.
"Not here. Someone might see." -
He whines, letting go of Layton's sleeve and crossing his arms. He pulls the other leg into the car and sulks in his seat.
-
He exhales softly as he closes King's door, crossing in front of the car to get back in the driver seat. He gets in and closes the door behind him, buckling himself and adjusting the mirrors before turning his attention to King.
He stares at him for a moment before speaking, his voice low.
"I wish you'd stop doing that in public. You'll lose a lot of your viewership if people realize you're gay." -
He huffs, stomping his foot a little on the floor of the car, like a child inconvenienced.
"I don't caaaaare." he gripes, looking over at Layton. He's pouting visibly. -
"Well, I do." he reminds him, changing the station on the radio and checking his phone. He's fairly certain they've fulfilled all of their obligations for the day, but he could never be too careful.
-
"I know. You only like me because I'm rich and famous." he says, sniffing. He tries to appear wounded, but finds his own joke too funny to resist, and he cracks a mischievous grin. He glances over at Layton, "These windows are tinted, I demand my kiss."
-
He rolls his eyes, leaning in and gently kissing King's lips.
-
He smiles to himself as Layton complies with his demand, savoring the moment when their lips meet before he starts to withdraw. The man is maddening- to give his affection so sparingly, and for it to be so short-lived in conjunction.
"You're so mean." he mumbles, turning to look out the window and beaming at his own reflection in it. Somehow, despite the mildness of the kiss, he's still blushing.
