After a moment Jenna had to wait for the experiment, so she sat down watching it, staring off into space.
"Why are you being so nice," she said quietly, not knowing she was speaking her thoughts aloud -
hmm, is there something wrong with being nice" he asked, looking away from his notes and focusing at her

"Huh?" Audrey asked, jerking back into reality

you asked why i was being so nice, is there something wrong with being nice?" he said

She blinked. "Oh shoot I said that out loud," she realized.

mhm" he replied,tilting his head a little bit

"But uhh speaking towards you answer," Audrey said, "It's just...it doesn't seem normal for you."

he chuckled at that. "thats because i don't let the mask fall often" he said. " i'm natural nice and goofy, but if being flirty and sarcastic keeps the bullies away, then i will keep the mask up". he looked back down at his notebooks

"Hm," was all Audrey said. She wasn't sure if she should believe him.

if you don't believe me thats fine, you didn't see my personality before i got this one" he said." i started acting like this on the first year of high school, i was really goofy in middle school"
