Ivory pulled her close and hugged her, never wanting to let go. He felt...safe.

Ivory smiled before he smelled something burning. He turned around and saw it. "OH GOD THE BACON!" he exclaimed, clapping a pot top onto the pan as tarnation itself seemed to take the bacon in its fiery clutch.

she fell to the ground laughing, rolling slightly

Ivory sighed in exasperation, laughing at himself. "Note to self: don't leave bacon burning."

yeah no"she said between giggles, sitting up, "that not a good idea"

Ivory chuckled. "Probably not. So unless you like your bacon extremely charred, I'm cooking another batch."
