The world here is just as the world is now. Or so C1 thought... he/she/they goes for a walk in the woods one day after a long, tiring day at work, the end result being them being fired. And they encounter C2, a creature who is not human and is thought only to exist in mythology or fairy tales. And there's a whole other world of them that has been living right under the human world's noses. But if humans discover C2, it will likely be held in captivity for experimentation and later killed. C1 knows it, and decides to care for the creature. What will happen?

Myst stalked out of her house angrily and into the woods beyond. Sure, she hadn't done what her boss had instructed, but the company made more money that way! And what had the ungrateful brat done? Fired her. Myst had no idea where she was going, but she kept walking.

Pire yawned as he woke up from his nap, feeling warm from the sun shining down on his fur. He slowly stretched out before moving to stand, shaking himself to settle his fur before looking around

She shoved through some brambles, not caring about the sharp pierce of the thorns. As her anger ceased, she realized she had no idea where she was or how to get back. Myst sighed.
