Cassia was ready. Or at least she felt she was ready. At the moment she was behind her home, training for the championship. She had strength, but most of her power was focused on speed and agility. She could maneuver around her opponent, tire them out, and then simply knock them down at the right moment.

Viola hit the side of Perci's sword and he went flying back. "Oof." He said as he hit the ground and Viola put her sword on his chest. "I win." She smiled and helped him up. Perci was a nice boy, medium built and nice bluish tilted hair. He grinned back.
(Is this a fight to the death?) -
(Hmmm I didn't think about that. What do you think it should be?)
Cassia finished her practice for the day and changed out her sweaty clothing. She was now walking down to the market, as her mother had asked her to retrieve some lamb for dinner. -
Viola brushed off her metal chest plate and tightened the straps of leather on her ankles. "Are you hungry?" She asked as she sat her sword back in the sheath and buckled it back on her waist. "Yeah, lets go get some fruit." They both agreed and they headed down to the food market.
(It will make it a little more exciting..) -
(Yeah that's true; we'll have it be a 'to the death' fight)
Cassia was searching for some good lamb when she turned around and caught sight of Viola. She knew her, not very well, but she knew her. She especially knew the fact that they were competing in the same competition. "Viola," she greeted. "What a coincidence, seeing you here." -
"Same to you, Cassia. I thought you'd be off training for your death." She smirked at her with her greeting and Perci laughed a little. Viola took a bite out of the yellow apple they had bought.

Cassia scoffed and smirked. "I could say the same to you," she said in response. "Especially when I notice the fact that I don't need someone to aid me in training. I can do it all by myself."

"Yes..But then when I kill your ass you'll be wishing you had friends to pratice with you..." She smiled at tossed the half eaten apple at Cassia and walked away with Perci in tow.

Cassia smirked and picked up the apple, tossing it back at Viola who's back was turned. It landed exactly on the back of her head.

She yelled as it hit the back of her head. She turned and rushed at Cassia but was stopped when the Royal Guards stopped her. "Princess Viola." They held her back as the leader glared at her. Pulling back, Viola frowned. "I told you not to call me that in public." The leader answered back, "But it's our job to protect you from heathens such as this."

Cassia smirked and bought her lamb, now walking back to her house.

Viola slammed the door open and walked into the throne room, "Daddy!" She yelled as she saw him talking to one of the servants. He turned to her and asked, "Yes darling." She smiled, "That Cassia girl attacked me. I'm so gonna get her at the championship." Her father smiled, "I'm sure you are. You should go rest." Viola walked up the glimming silver stairs into her huge master bedroom.

Cassia returned to her home and ate a delicious, warm dinner of lamb stew. She smiled. This was home.
(Should we do a time skip to the next day maybe? Idk) -

When Viola woke up she stretched. Tomorrow was the championship. The sun was glowing through her lace curtains and the floor was nice and warm. She stepped on to the floor and walked down to the kitchen. "Good morning Viola." The cook said as she laid out a nice breakfast fit for the princess. -
