``Yeah, I'd be surprised if they made it out alive,`` Grayson said, giggling. She hummed, leaning closer to Akumu.

Akumu kissed her gently "well, if they do survive, My group could use some new chew toys" he rumbled in amusment

Grayson chuckled, kissing Akumu back. She leaned closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder. ``God, I love you so much,`` she said happily.

Akumu rubbed her back gently "and i you, Gray" he purred softly

Grayson leaned closer to Akumu's touch, sighing happily. Her phone buzzed again and she rolled her eyes, pulling it out. ``Well, I guess that's my cue to leave,`` she said with a sigh. She moved out of Akumu's hold, putting her phone away. ``I'll see you later,`` she said, kissing him before leaving.

Akumu made a quiet kreening sound as she left, but otherwise didnt protest. He stood up, his extra tendrils waving calmly around him before he went to inform His group that he would be leaving for a few days

Grayson made her way to where the squad was, easily being able to take don the enemy and save the group. ``What took you so long?!`` The squad leader said, stomping over to Grayson. ``I had some official business to attend to.`` ``Well, you could've hurried it up a bit!`` The commander protested angrily. Grayson glared at him and he shut up instantly. ``I'm sorry I did not come sooner, I just thought you could handle yourselves.`` ``Well, clearly, we can't.`` He said pointing to wounded heros around him. Grayson nodded, running a hand through her hair. ``Get the medic down here. Get them healed ASAP.`` She said. The leader nodded and rushed off.

Akumu smirked as he shadow traveled into a large room, watching as two of His group tried to murder eachother. "Xero. I have some buisness to attend to. Your in charge" he rumbled to the man he had appeared next to, earning a quiet curse "f---ing warn a guy, your going to give me a heart attack" the man hissed, getting an amused huff

Grayson walked back to her office, rubbing her temples as people came up to her, asking question after question. She walked into her office, sitting down in the big chair at her desk. ``Miss,`` a woman said, walking into the room. ``There's some new trainees you must oversee during their training.`` Grayson sighed, sitting up. ``At what time?`` ``In a few days,`` she replied. Grayson nodded, resting her arms on the table. ``I'll get back to you once I know I'm available,`` she said and the woman nodded, leaving the room.

Akumu melted back into the shadows and moved to her through the darkness, pausing to make sure she was alone before emerging from the shadows under her desk as a serpentine creature with many eyes and teeth

Grayson shuddered, feeling as though someone were watching her. She looked around, sensing something. She moved her chair back and looked under her desk, seeing Akumu. ``Hi~`` She said, giggling.

Akumu rumbled quietly in amusment, slithering up into her lap with a purr

``Well ready to "kidnap" me?`` Grayson said, chuckling. ``I'm ready for my vacation,`` she added, running a hand through her hair.

He nodded and coiled around her before pulling, dragging her down into the freezing shadows and out near the hotel
