Jo walked into the class, the teacher not seeming to notice. She sat down, scrolling through her phone as the teacher talked.
-
Tyler immediately noticed when Jo walked in, but he didn't turn his gaze to her.
-
Jo leaned back in her chair as she scrolled through her phone, not paying any attention to the class.
-
Jo was in the seat in front of him. He leaned over, whispering into her ear. "You still haven't told me your name."
-
Jo tensed up and turned around, seeing Tyler. ``Oh uhm, my name's-`` ``Jo.`` The teacher said, calling her out. She winced and turned, smiling. ``Yes, miss?`` ``You should be paying attention, rather than talking to boys and texting.`` Jo sighed, nodding. ``Yes, ma'am.``
-
"Jo," he said quietly as if in thought, her name sliding out of his mouth easily. "I've heard there's a party this weekend."
-
( ack- sorry for the late reply! )
``Oh yeah,`` Jo said, looking back at Tyler. ``I got an invite before class. Apparently it's gonna be a big one.`` -
"You coming?" he asked.
-
( jesus, why do i keep forgetting to check?? :') )
``Mhm,`` Jo hummed in response, shifting in her seat as she kept her gaze on the board, seeming to look like she were paying attention to the lesson. -

(Skipping to the party)
Tyler arrived at the party in his usual clothing, blue jeans, a white shirt, and a black leather jacket. He parked his motorcycle and strutted up to the hosue -
( kk U^U )
Jo parked her car as she and her friend finished touching up their makeup. ``I'm going to be so mad if this party flops,`` her friend, Olive, said, getting out of the car. ``If it is, I'm leaving,`` Jo said with a chuckle as she stepped out of her car, brushing off her skirt and adjusting her halter top. She walked over to Olive and they headed into the house. -
There were mostly people chatting. There was one time where it turned out one kid had brought a case of beer, or something. They were gone before he had had a chance to grab one.
Then one of the kids yelled "Let's play Spin the Bottle!" -
``Ooh! I wanna play!`` Olive said, grabbing Jo's hand and walking over to the group that gathered. ``I love this game,`` she said, giggling. ``Wow, I couldn't tell,`` Jo replied, chuckling lightly.
