``Definitely,`` she agreed, fixing her hair as she pulled it back out of her face. ``So, how've you been? It feels like we haven't talked in forever.``

"I'm sorry. My dad divorced my mom so my mom hasn't felt like going to see your mom for some dying of her hair. I may be able to talk her into it though." Allay said with sadness.

``Aw, it's fine, girl,`` Jo said, giving Allay a side hug. ``That must suck, having to deal with your parents splitting.`` She let go of her friend, backing up a bit.

"yeah." Harrison stood up next to them as they talked.
"Hey Allay." Harrison said smiling at her.. -
Jo hummed as she walked out of the water, making her way to Harrison's truck. ``Wonder what time it is,`` she mumbled, grabbing her phone and turning it on. ``Oh, sh-t.`` Jo sighed, quickly reading through the texts Grayson sent her and responding.

Harrison watched Jo walk to his truck. He liked her, she was cool to hang around. He smiled and Allay said, "You like her?" He blushed and she whispered back, "I won't tell."

Jo up for a moment, looking over to Allay and Harrison. God, Grayson's gonna kill me when she finds out I'm here with Harrison, she thought, watching the two in the water talking, but, I mean, he is really cute.

Realizing that Jo was watching them back he turned away, "You think she likes me?" Allay grinned big, "Yes I do."

Jo smiled, her thoughts then being interrupted by her ringing phone. She looked down, seeing Grayson facetiming her. ``Sh-t, sh-t, sh-t.`` She muttered, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around her. She picked up, chuckling anxiously. ``Hey, Grayson-`` ``Where the f--k are you?!`` Grayson yelled, making Jo wince.

Seeing Jo do that gave him the thought her friend was calling. He headed up out of the water towards her. Grabbing her phone he powered it off and said, "She's was ruining the fun."

Jo gasped, laughing. ``Wow, you'd have to be very brave to hang up on her like that,`` Jo said, giggling. ``But yeah, she really was.`` She took her phone back, setting it down with her things. She then took Harrison's hand, making her way back to the water with him.

"She's your bestfriend?" He asked as he held her hand tight. She was so nice and funny.

``Yup,`` Jo responded, stepping into the water. ``We've been friends since we were really little. I thought she was so cool when I met her, because Grayson's deaf, so she wears hearing aids. I thought they were some kind of machine that gave her powers, and that's what we called them.`` She giggled, wading in the water. ``We like to joke around about it, since it's what brought us together.``

"hmm..It seems like she's being on being serious..All work no play.." He answered quietly as Allay smiled at them.

``That's really only when it comes to school and her job. Whenever she's not worried about that, she can be pretty wild,`` she said, giggling. She realized she was still holding Harrison's hand and let go, chuckling awkwardly. ``Sorry,`` she mumbled, resting her hands at her side.
