Jo walked into the bar, groaning softly. ``What can I get ya?`` The bartender asked, walking over to where Jo sat. ``Tequila,`` she said, rubbing her face. ``Rough day?`` ``Rough day..`` The bartender nodded and made Jo a drink, handing it to her. She downed pretty fast, letting the harsh liquid slide down her throat. 1 drink became 2, 2 became 4, and so on, till she was drunk off her a-- and didn't have a care in the world. -
Casey walked up to the bar and got his drink. He sat down at a random table and took a sip. He didn't drink very often, and when he did it was more of a last-ditch effort to relax. Thus he didn't keep a bottle in the house. Actually, now that he thought about it, he should. It would save money in the long run and alcohol tastes better the older it is.

Jo sat at the bar with a few other girls, laughing their a--es off at overheard conversations that aren't even relatively funny. ``My f--king chest hurts!`` She exclaimed through her laughter, putting a hand over her chest. A guy walked over to the bar, standing near Casey. He chuckled as he watched Jo and the girls, surveying them. -

Casey gazed up at a guy that was standing near where he was, but pain him no mind. Except he got a gut feeling that the man was no good. He decided to keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't do anything. -
Jo turned and ordered another few drinks, quickly downing them. The guy walked over to Jo and the girls, leaning against the counter. ``Hey, ladies,`` he said, putting an arm around Jo. ``Hello~`` Jo responded, her words slurred. ``How about you relax on the drinks, since you seem super drunk already, and come with me?`` He asked, his arm wrapping around her waist.

Casey raised his eyebrows and his face became flushed as he realized what the man was implying to the girl. He hesitated before taking another sip of his drink.

``Uhh, what does that mean?~`` Jo asked with a giggly voice, hiccuping. ``I mean, I take you to my place and, y'know, take care of you.`` The guy said, a perverted smirk creeping onto his face. ``Oh, I guess that's fine~`` Jo responded, her words slurring once more.

No way that was happening on Casey's watch. "Excuse me, we have to go," he said to the man. He took the girl's arm and started leading her towards the door.

``Uh- Bye~!`` Jo said, giggling as she followed Casey out. ``Hi, stranger dragging me, where might you be taking me,`` she asked, stumbling slightly as she walked.

Casey supported her a little more and started walking to his car. "Away from the tequila. Where do you live?"

``Aww, but I want more~`` Jo said, giggling. She leaned onto Casey, resting her head on his shoulder as she walked. ``I live in an apartment!`` She exclaimed, laughing at herself. ``I am so funny.``

"Yes, but what's your address?" he asked.

``Uhm, I don't remember~`` Jo replied, giggling. ``Ooh, ooh! I'll call Grayson! She's my roommate, did you know that? She's a very shy person, but very nice!`` She fumbled as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and unlocking it.
