She studied him more closely. "I am Ijukira. Where is the person you follow around? The one who put you here?"
-
He nerrowed his eyesockets at her, seeming a little more cautious. "Where my Master is is of no concern to you." He growled
-
She took a few steps forwards, until she was just out of his reach, but if he lunged out of his cage he could probably do some pretty serious damage. "He's your... Master? He controls you?"
-
He tilted his head, before nodding. His fingers twitched as she moved closer, glancing down again. A few more inches and she would be in the area he was aloud to attack in
-
She gazed at the fortress. "I could probably take out all the guards... but I don't know if he has fifty or a hundred... Er, what will you do if I, you know, kill your master?"
-
A bloodthirstly smile spread across his face "is that your intention?
-
She took a few steps back in case he would be angry. She had prepared herself for decades, training to predict her enemy's every move. "And what will you do if it is?" She countered.
-
He twitched and then lunged at her with his claws outstretched, letting out a screech
-
Attempting to dodge, she didn't have enough time to think and one of his claw/hands hit her shoulder, hard. She rolled over on the ground, but got up quickly, and ran, taking to the air, and flying back over to him, well out of his reach but still within sight. Her shoulder hurt, and blood dripped from it onto the ground, making her lose her balance easier.
-
He watched her with a blood thirsty expresion, looking more then a little crazy as he licked her blood off his claws
-
She snarled under her breath. If this creature wanted a fight, she would give him one, no matter her orders. She swooped down in a blur, swiped a dagger at his chest, and soared back up awkwardly. She was going to need to get better at flying.
-
He let her hit him, slashing his claws at her wings to try to ground her
-
She felt a stabbing pain in her wings and turned, falling to the ground. She could still use them, but it hurt too much. She ran as fast is possible (which is like 5 times as fast as a cheetah btw) to the nearest wall and climbed it until she was very high above him, sitting on it and glaring at him, blood pouring from her wings and dripping to the ground.
-
He lunged at the wall and started climbing after her, his claws tearing through the stone like paper
-
She noticed this, and despite her injuries, she still had very good balance. She ran across the side of the fortress's wall very quickly, not as fast as before but quick enough to outrun him, though blood dripped from her wounds in a trail. She could run, but she couldn't hide. It struck her, she was eventually going to have to fight, or die. She couldn't keep running forever.
