Cameron stared at her pale hands. They were still and calm, just like she was. She glanced up at her bedroom window. She looked out of it. The small, cherry red car was sitting on the side of the street, waiting for her to come down and enter it so that it could take her to the train station. Excitement surged through her. She was going to Dux Academy. Her parents were sending her there because they wanted her to follow after them career-wise. Frankly, she did too. She had always looked up to the couple that had raised her and she had always wanted to be a legendary villain like them.
(Remember that my character is the only one in the group that actually wants to attend Dux. the rest want to be heroes and attend Umbra.) -
Allison stared down at her blue Nissan Altima and sighed. Today's the day I go to Umbra Academy. I'm scared though. she thought to herself. "Ally! Time for us to go!" Abigail, Allison's mother said. "Ok coming mom!" She yelled coming down the stairs. "I can't believe are little Ally is going to Umbra Academy." Jacob, Allison's father said. "I can believe it." She muttered to herself.

Lancet toyed with a golden ring, twisting it around on his finger in a fidgety manner. Aurum Academy...the place where kids became heros. He snorted. As if. Everyone despised him for his abilities to delve into their minds, discover their darkest secrets and sometimes use them as blackmail. Even his own parents wouldn't look him in the eye, because they were afraid of him. How ironic is it to be terrified of your own child, ever since he was five years old? A long and unhappy childhood had commenced, and the sweet and loving five year old had been butchered by a decade of pain.

Blue nervously twiddled her thumbs. Aurum Academy? It sounded like a sham to her, but she wanted to give it a shot. Surely the principal of Aurum wasn’t right in the head; they’d gone too far with their marketing, probably. Blue grimaced as she passed a stray dog. She could do no more than touch it, yet not even that she could do, for the dog whimpered and ran away from her. Blue sighed, kneeling down and tickling the grass, then reluctantly standing up and facing the land that was Aurum Academy's.
