He nodded and walked towards the doora

Ava pulled at the gold tree's door handle and it opened. She stuck her head in and then walked in.

Sgrios followed close behind

As they entered Ava noticed it was dark. The moon shown in the sky bright and the stars gazed down on them. You could hear the sound of waves hitting the rocks and smell of salt.

Sgrios stopped "are we near an ocean?v he asked in confusion

"We shouldn't be." Ava went down the stairs and looked around puzzled. They should not be near a beach but the smell and sounds all said beach.

Sgrios flicked an ear as he followed her, his tail twitching

As they stepped off the stair case, the door's slammed shut leaving the only the moon and the stars. "Well, there went or exit route." Ava said.

Sgrios rumbled quietly and looked around

Then the night air was filled with the sound of wolves howling. It was loud and rang clear over the hills and ocean. "Wolves? Near a beach?"

Sgrios perked his ears "its not entirely uncommon" he said

"Okay." She glared at him and the wolves ears appeared again flattening against her head. Her frowned deepened. "Lets go." She walked on, towards the hills ahead.

He nodded and walked with her, keeping an ear out for threats "the good news is even if the wolves come near us they wont attack us unless they are sick or we are near their pup" he said

"Oh yeah, did you forget I just happen to look like a wolf sometimes. What if they see that and they freak out? What if they feel like I'm a treat to them?" Ava almost yelled but lowered her voice enough that it was a whisper.

Sgrios gave her flat look and just raised one skeletal arms "im pretty sure if they dont try to eat me they wont bother you" he said calmly. "Wolves are shy creatures. They wont activly attack something unless they are hunting it, and from those howls they just got a kill" he explained
