Cleo looked around the warehouse.

As they approach the middle of the warehouse, Erratum heard something move behind them. He turned around to see a tall man with pitch back skin and luminus yellow eyes, tattered gray feather wings hanging from his back. "Ah. You arrived, little human" he said, a strange smile on his face

Cleo stood in front of Erratum, her ears pinned back. "What do you want?" she growled.

The man spread his hand in a pacifying motion "i mearly wish to help your charge. He is largly defenceless in this dangerous world after all" he said calmly, all the while with that strange smile

Cleo put a hand in front of Erratum to protect him. "How so..?" she asked.

the man held out a hand to them "i can show you.

"No, tell me. We both have plenty of time." she said coldly.

Annoyance flickered across his face for a moment before returning to the smile "very well" he lowered his hand "you see, Humans have an ability that lets them adapt to any situation. Most humans never learn about this ability, because they dont need it. However, i believe that your friend could benefit from such a thing.

"I refuse to let you do that to him. I'm his bodyguard for a reason." Cleo said, growling at the man.

"I believe it is his choice" the man said, lookimg past her and at Erratum, his eyes glowing a little brighter "what do you think, little One?" He asked. Erratum hesitated, uncertain. "Ill stop being usless, right?

"No not really, you'll probably still be a little weak." said Cleo.

"But youll be much better off then you are now" the man said, making Erratum pause

"But people could still hurt you." she said.

"But you will be able to defend yourself" the man said. Erratum hessitated before stepping out from behind her "what would need do do?" He asked, causing the mans smile to widden
