Era curled up on his side, resigning himself to his fate. He vaugly heard a voice, but couldnt understand what was said in his current state. After a few seconds he managed to lift his head to stare in the direction on the voice, hacking out another harsh cough

Sydney hesitated, unsure of what to do. What if it was just a trap? But, maybe someone did actually need help. She glanced down the street, she was so close to home. She could easily continue on, get a nice rest in her bed. But, no. She couldn't. Her body took over as she sloely began doen the dsrk alleyway. As she got futther in, she noticed the outline of someone on the ground, maybe where it all came from.
"S, sir? Are you alright?" She asked, kneeling down slightly to get a better view of them. -
Era made a quiet pained noise in response to her voice, barley audible over his weezing breaths. He idly noticed that he could taste blood, wondering if he had bitten is tongue or if he had coughed it out. He couldnt help the faint spasming of his limbs as his body tried to shiver, the coldness of the ground soaking through his worn clothes as he lied there

Sydney got a worried look on her face as they got clesrer in her vision, as the moonlight cast down some light on the situation. "Oj no..." She said in her head, trying to figure out what to do. "I cant leave you here.." She whispered. "Can, can you move any?" She asked them.

Era managed to jerk his head in a short negative response, his vision swiming from that small motion before he started coughing again.
