Bella furrowed her eyebrows back at Kenneth in deep confusion. “What? New York City is in the United States. And what war? What clans?” -
Kenneth peered at her. "What do you see around you?" he asked. "I see a very dense forest with vines and ilu (flower only native to his land) growing abundantly."

Confusion rooted in Bella’s head and grew larger than before. When she glanced at her surroundings, she saw a half-bare forest and the only flowers she could see were white wildflowers. She told Kenneth that, her face mimicking her confusion. What was he talking about?

"How is this possible?" Kenneth wondered aloud. "We occupy the same space and yet we are in two entirely different places." -
(It’s ok)
“I don’t know...” Bella said, breathing out her words. Disbelief showered down on her head and threatened to drown her. How was this happening? There wasn’t anything in science to explain this. -
"It cannot be a dream," Kenneth said. "For I remember everything I have done today up to this point."

“Yeah,” Bella agreed. “Same. I remember getting up in there morning and loading my car. Then I drove over here and this happened. This doesn’t make any sense.”

"When we were little," Kenneth said. "I do remember being in a place similar to what you just described. I did not understand, but I cared not."

“Yeah,” Bella replied.

Suddenly there was the sound of a horn in the distance. Kenneth immediately grabbed his and blew a strong gust of air into it. After a few seconds he brought his horn down then grabbed Bella's wrist. "Come," he said, dragging her up. "It is not safe." -
“What?” Bella asked, confused. “What’s going on?”
But she followed Kenneth anyway. The wind has grown stronger and had caused Bella to be knocked out of breath after barely moving at all, but she ignored that and kept going even though confusion creepy through her veins. -
