A guard scoffed. "You think we would fall for your silly ruses?" he boomed, sticking his snout right in Sydney's face. "Absolutely not. Now, leave.." One guard looked uncertain. "But if they really do have a mission… You guys should come in." The other guards welcomed Sydney and her mate.

Crimson glided through the air, feeling the wing tug at her wings. "Crimson!" A voice roared below her. She recognized her mother's voice; also known as the Queen of the Skywings. "Y-yes, mother?" She bent her neck down, avoiding any eye contact as she landed on the thick stone floor.

Usagi gawked at Sydney. "Hi." She said smiling.

"Umm hi.."She answered back and frowned. They followed the guards.

Nolest was displeased. He frowned at the newcomer. "Why are you here?" he asked, quivering. His voice cracked in the middle of his sentence. Sydney reminded him of his own mother—her face regal and beautiful, with eyes like the blue sky. She stood tall and confident. Nolest silently wondered if those eyes could cloud over as fast as his mother's.

"You're supposed to be training, not messing around foolishly!" Her mother snapped. Crimson's eyes teared up as she let guilt crawl through her chest.

Usagi went to where Crimson was. "Are you ok Crimson?" She asked.

Nolest sighed. He wasn’t good at flying, so he stayed where he was.

"We were sent by the queen. She thought we would be a good choice for Nolest. Because of his inabilities." -
"Yeah, I'm fine, Usagi. Go back to defending the palace." Crimson demanded under her breath.
"We have guests!" Shouted her mother. "Now, come along, and we'll meet them. You're a disappointment, Crimson." -
They saw the queen coming with a female dragon behind her but the female dragon seemed sad. Her mate noticed and nodded towards her with a look of questions.

Usagi went back to the palace as she just stood there.

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" The queen smiled as Crimson sat there with her neck bent down. "I don't think I've introduced you to my daughter. This is Crimson, heir of the Skywing Kingdom."

Her mate frowned at her, and whispered, "I wonder who that is. I don't remember being told the Queen had any children." She nodded in response, they were never told of any children the Queen had.
