Camila typed a few more words but was unable to concentrate. She decided that she could use a change of scenery. She stood up and packed up her things, then walked out the door of the coffee shop without a second glance towards the man.
-
Ravius got up to follow Camila, under the pretense of receiving an urgent phone call. He walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Uh, ma'am? Do you know your way around here? I'm a bit lost and I really need to get to somewhere."
-
Camila nodded, faintly recognizing him as the man in the coffee shop. "Um, yeah. Do you want me to give you directions, or...?" She trailed off.
-
"Well, I'm trying to get to a certain building, but I have no idea where that is," Ravius said. "It's called the Skylar?"
-
Camila nodded. "Oh, yeah. I know. I used to go there with my brother all the time." She smiled at him. "I can take you, if you'd like."
-
Ravius nodded, smiling warmly. "Thank you, miss! I get lost in a most dreadful fashion around here."
-
Camila grinned. "It's alright. Once you get used to the city's layout, it's pretty simple. The Skylar's not far, just about five minutes walking distance." She began walking, putting her hands in her pockets as a chilly breeze blew by. "So, what do you do in your free time?"

"Oh, me? I like spend time with my daughter, Lily. She's been with her grandmother for a while now and today will be the first time in a while before I get to see her," Ravius said, spinning up a lie on the spot. -
We can never be friends again >:(
Camila nodded. "You have a daughter? I don't have mush experience with kids." She paused. "Yet. I do want to eventually have kids, though. My sibling's kids are so cute, they make me want to have one of my own."
She smiled. "I'm glad you get to hang out with your daughter, I'll bet she loves spending time with you, too." -
Ah, yes. The mushy children experience))
-
PFFT XDD))
"I'd like to think so," Ravius said with a smile. "Children are blessings, but it is a parent's decision to care for them correctly. I believe there are no bad children, only bad parents and bad circumstances." -
Camila stepped out of the way of a skateboarding teenager, then continued walking. "True. Children are very observant, especially of people they're close to. What they see, they do."
-
Ravius nodded. "Exactly. I had a son sometime ago and alas, I was not the proper caretaker then. He ran away from me and I have not found him since," he said. He was shocked with himself. He had never told any other living soul of this, but he found himself spilling one of his greatest secrets to a stranger! He had forgotten who she was. She wasn't his wife. His wife was dead.
-
Camila turned towards him and stopped walking. "I'm really sorry. What was his name?" She felt for this poor man. He seemed like he had it rough.
