Evelyn brought her legs off the ground and curled up a little on the park bench. She didn't know how to react to any of this, she didn't know if she was seeing things or if it was real, anything. "I...I'm sorry," she stammered.

Edmund rolled his eyes, sitting on the bench but quickly realizing that he went straight through it. “After being dead for 400 years, I’m used to it, People forgetting me.” He said flatly, floating back onto his feet.

"I didn't mean to," Evelyn said quietly. "It just happened." -

Edmund glared at her. “It’s been years, and you “didn’t mean to”?! Ha! Well guess what? I want revenge, and I will get it!” He laughed bitterly. -
Evelyn stared at him for a moment with a similar expression she had had when he had appeared just a few minutes ago, except this time her eyes were laced with fear. She remembered Ed doing marvelous things when she was little. If he had changed so much, what could he do now?
"I'm sorry," she repeated in a whisper. Evelyn stood.up and started walking away from.the bench with her arms wrapped around herself. -
Edmund felt a force pull him towards Evelyn, and he yelped. “Hey! I’m still connected to you! Don’t walk away when I’m not following you!” He yelled, quickly flying towards her.
Ed saw her expression and frowned. “I’m not going to make your life a total living hell. my old appearance will come back in a month, and everything will go back to normal.” He said, laying in mid-air. -
Evelyn nodded in understanding. "I'm going to go home," she said and started walking in that direction.

Edmund followed behind her, looking around to make sure no one saw him before changing into a human. His eyes changed to brown and his horns, wings and tail disappeared. “I’m not the only one who has changed in 16 years. Your, like, three to five feet taller than the last time you saw me.” He said, using his hand to measure himself to Evelyn.

"Are you an invention of my imagination and you somehow came out of my head?" Evelyn asked. "Or are you something else?"

Edmund thought for a moment. “Well, I’m a spirit who had been given the job of looking after you and many kids and adults before you.” He paused, gathering his thoughts.
“I have the magic to turn myself into a human, as you just saw, but only for an hour at a time. There are still things I can’t do, such as...” He tries to grab onto a pole, but his hand goes through it. “...That and I don’t function like a normal human.” -
"So you're like...a ghost?" she asked. "Except you haven't died? Or have you?"

“I am dead, for your information. I’m using magic to do this right now.” He stated, pointing at the marks all over his body.

"When I was little I remember you said you were...an angel," Evelyn said.
Truth be told she didn't know why he was acting like this to her. He had said he wouldn't take it to the extreme he was planning to, but he was still going to seek revenge. -
