"Okay," she said quietly and followed Jade.

They ran through the entrance and towards the trees that blanketed the right side of the cave. Jade could hear the Hunters following and Aster was following behind quicly.

Asteria looked behind her and saw multiple figures chasing them. She turned back around and tried to speed up.

Jade made it to the tree line and turned back seeing Aster getting closer. "At least she picked up up speed." Jade said as she got ready to run into the dark forest that would keep them safe.

Aster gave a cry of surprise when she felt someone from behind her grab her form. She twisted around and then kicked the man just under the knee where the shin bone started. He yelled in pain and let go of her.

"Come on Aster!" Jade yelled, she couldn't have the girl die. She couldn't, she was trained for this, she must not fail.

(You do remember that Jade is half-angel, right?)
Asteria rushed to catch up with Jade. Soon they had crossed the line into the forest. -
Grabbing Aster's hand, Jade went deeper into the woods. "We are officially in Larson Woods, home of creatures unknown. Supernatural, weird things. Stay close, in here you can get lost forever, its like a maze." Jade said nodding towards the coal black trees with dark green teardrop leaves.
(I know but Jade is not ready to show/tell Aster about that.) -
(Ah)
Asteria gripped Jade's hand so that they wouldn't be separated. Just from glancing around she knew she wouldn't want to be in this place alone. -
Two gold eyes glowed back at them at the foot a huge log laying on the ground. "Careful, watch the wolf." Jade said as the wolf growled showing red teeth. Jade guided Aster along a unseen path as though she knew her way around the woods.
They stopped at a creek and Jade pointed out the weird eel like creatures in the water, "You can drink the water but watch them, don't let them touch you." -
Aster gratefully sat down next to the stream and scooped up handfuls of water into her mouth minding the odd-looking aquatic creatures. When she was finished she said, "I don't understand what's going on."

Jade sighed, it would come to this sooner or later. "Aster, the hunters want you died, there are reasons but I can't say. All I have to do is keep you away from them and you don't make it easy."

"If it's the speed thing, sorry, but just because I'm think doesn't mean I'm fast," she said. "If it's because I'm asking so many questions, I don't like doing things unless there's a good and logical reason behind it!"

"How about the logical reason is because you'll DIE! Do you not get that??" Jade throws her hands in the air making her sword clink against the rocks.

"Yeah, I get that part," she said with a roll of her eyes. "But I still have so many questions that just lead to more questions."
