Axel sighed. “And thats why I want to protect you. I don’t want you getting hurt by anybody.” He said.
-
"Why not?" Rasia asked. "What on earth is different about me than any other hostage you've taken? Why are you so concerned over my well-being?"
-
Axel grabbed her waist and brought her close to him. “You just seem... right. You seem like the person I can turn to when I go crazy.” He said.
-
Rasia stared at him wide-eyed, her mouth shaping unvoiced words. What was he doing?
-
Axel proceeded to kiss Rasia, but stopped a few seconds after. He let her go and shoved his hands into his pockets.
-
(Wait, did he actually kiss but it was only a few seconds or was he about to then pulled away?)
Rasia stared at him. She didn't know what to think. So she did what she usually did when she didn't know what to think. She quickly left the room. -
(Was about to, then pulled away.)
Axel stared after her and just sighed. What was he doing? It was obvious she was scared of him. -
(Or maybe his lips brushed hers? A few seconds can actually take a little bit to pass)
Rasia went to the back yard and sat on the wooden swing that was held up by a tree branch by ropes.
She lightly touched her lips. Had he really been about to kiss her?
Rasia honestly didn't know how to think about Axel. She was afraid of him, she was uncertain of him. But for some reason in some odd way, she trusted him. It was probably more like a half-trust. -
(True. Let’s just say he did that then :3)
Axel peeked out the window and looked at Rasia. Deciding to give her some privacy, he got out of the house and walked a few blocks down. -
She sighed. She wished things could just go back to normal. She wished she wasn't so scared every second of the day anymore. She wished she had never heard Axel's yelp, that she had never walked that way in the first place.
But she felt that by wishing that she wished that a human life that she had saved had been taken away. -
Axel continued his walk up and down Rasia’s neighborhood.
-
Rasia sighed and went back inside. She didn't see Axel. She looked around the house. Where had he gone? Had he left? She felt a bit of relief run through her.
-
He finally stopped walking after a few minutes and sat down on a tree stump with his hand on his chin.
-
Rasia decided to try and make the rest of her day as normal as possible.
-
Axel ran his finger along the pattern of the stump.
