She groaned at the sound of the phone ringing deciding to ignore it

Nickola put the phone down. Why would she not pick up? Perhaps she didn't know it was him calling her.

She fell back asleep. happy that the ringing of the phone was done

Later, during bakery hours, Nickola called again.

She answered the phone "Hello?" she asked

"Mia stella!" he said, sounding overjoyed that she had answered. "I have a request, listen per favore. There was a torta you gave me, I forget what it was called. Oh yes! Pioggia Di Perle Segrete! Secret Pearl Drizzle! Reyna, I want to make an order of your Secret Pearl Drizzle. The one I had when I first met you, mio amore. And I want you to deliver it to my house."

"Ok?" she said sounding slightly confused and annoyed

"Do not worry, you will be delivered safely home," Nickola said.

"fine all make the request you have" she said with a sigh

"Meraviglioso," Nickola said. He then told her his address over the phone. "Do you have it written down?"

"Yes" she said. she tucked her hair behind her ear

"I will see you soon," Nickola said. And he hang up.

She put down the phone. She walked over to take some muffins out of the oven. Then started on his request

Nickola looked at the clock. He wondered how long it actually took to bake a cake.

She made the cake batter then put it in a pan then waited for it too cook
