Thankfully, there was a bench near the entrance to town. Pratterx sat down and took his helmet off and sighed. He hoped the circle would work here.

Azure layed down in the grass next to the bench,licking at his sore feet

Pratterx looked at all the people passing by and wondered if they were even welcome here considering the looks they were getting. The Overlord is not particularly liked in Spree due to stealing their food when he was just getting started.

Azure didnt even notice the looks, trilling out greetings to random people as they passed

Pratterx soon was rested, put his helmet on and stood back up. He said to Azure "Alright, let's go. Our journey is almost over."

Azure whined but clambered to his feet, shaking himself "oke" he said, yawning

Pratterx walked to the circle but noticed someone already there and it didn't look like someone from the Overlord's army. He hid in the bushes to spy.
Adam was in Spree and was destroying the Overlord's teleportation circle. He was keeping the army from coming anywhere near this town again. -
Azure blinked at Pratterx when he hid, seeming confused before noticing the person at the circle. He got curious, having already forgotten the incident at the shop, and aproached with a friendly trill

Pratterx tried to stop him by pulling his tail but was pulled with him. Adam looked at both of them and instantly recognized them as from the Overlord's army, but not as the same ones he saw earlier in Atlersburg. He said "So you've come to fight, huh?"

Azure blinked at him in confusion "no?" He said as he tilted hia head and looked at Pratterx

Pratterx said "Look, we don't need any trouble. We were just..." "Stealing from Spree again." Adam interrupted. "I don't know what the Overlord wants with all these grains and chickens, but he won't get them. Have at you." Adam continued and he slashed his sword at Azure, breaking open the chicken cage.

Azure squealled in alarm, rearing back on his tail before turning and bolting

Pratterx grabbed the chicken as it flew out of the cage and ran with Azure. He jumped on his back to get away quicker. Adam was prepared this time and got onto a horse to follow them.

Azure looked around quickly for escape routes and spotted a cart, leaping up onto it before hopping up to a low roof

Pratterx held on for dear life as Adam continued to chase them both on the ground. He tried to shoot them down with his bow but kept missing.
