They inspected it, trying to read what it said. A couple of people looked at Pheonix with curiosity, and they looked back in awe. Pheonix walked in cautiously, pulling their hood over their head to hide their appearance.

Era smiled cheerfully at the woman inside the building, waving to her as they pulled out two large jars "hello hun, the usuall?" She said pleasantly. Era nodded and set the jars down as she went to get the bread, wrapping it up and giving it to them. They carefully put the bread away, nodding in thanks before leaving

Pheonix saw a lot of different little makeshift buildings. A couple of little kids ran past, playing what they presumed was tag. They smiled. It was cute. Someone tapped Pheonix on the shoulder.
“Hm?” They said simply. It was a man a little taller than Pheonix. “Sorry to bother you, but you look lost. Do you need help?” -
Era looked around as they stepped out of the building, pausing a little as his bees buzzed around them in an adjitated manner. They frowned a little and then started following them towards the entrance gates

Pheonix looked at the man, surprised. “Oh, no. I’m just...Erm...looking around...” They said nervously. “Oh? Well, what is your name?” He asked. Pheonix thought quickly. “U-Uh, My name...my name is Perry! Yeah! Heh...” They said quickly.

Era hid around the corner of a building when they spotted the stanger talking to one of the villagers, his bright blue eyes glowing faintly as some of his bees flew over to listen in

“Perry, hm? Well, nice to meet you! I’m Jett.” He said, holding out his hand, which Pheonix/Perry shook. “N-Nice to meet you, too.” She said, sighing from relief.
“So, what type of magic do you do? Or are you just a traveler?” Jett asked, startling the royal. “M-Magic?” -
Era frowned a little as they listened via the bees, staying hidden at the newcomers reaction. They chewed on their lip nervously, debating just leaving to avoid and trouble the new person could cause

Jett also scrunched his eyebrows together, frowning. “You do know what magic is, right?” He asked.
“Well, y-yes...but I didn’t know it still existed!” They replied, realizing how much that revealed about their status. “I-I mean...” -
Era heard that and froze, beforw they took a deep breath and stepped out hiding, walking towards the pair with their bees

Pheonix backed up a little, making themself as small as possible. “Well, I-I come from a part where magic isn’t s-seen much anymore!” They said quickly, trying to make up a good excuse.
“...Oh, apologies. I guess your a traveler who just came across here.” He replied, smiling softly. -
Era watched them curiusly, eyeing the stranger warily before they lightly tugged at the mans shirt in question, looking up at the taller human.

Jett looked behind his back, feeling a tug. “Oh! Hello Era! How are you today?” He asked them. Pheonix bit their lip, pulling their hood down lower.

Era smiled lightly 'i am well. Who is the stranger?' they signed as they took a step back, their bees hovering around their head

“This is Perry!” He said brightly. Pheonix did a tiny wave. “Uh-H-Hi.”
