He tucked some loose strands of her brown hair behind her ear and looked at her with his mesmerizing deep blue eyes that shimmered in the sunset. "Jewel," he said. The name was so fitting for her. She was beautiful just like one. "Would...would you be my girlfriend?"

Jewel’s eyes widened as she blushed. “O..of course Adrian!” She stammered. -

Adrian gave a kind smile and cupped her face in his hand. "Can...can I kiss you?" he whispered low enough so that only she could hear, uncertain of whether she'd be comfortable doing so.

“Of course.” She said quietly as she waited.

He leaned over and started kissing her softly, a little slowly, but with an obvious fire. He didn't care if James had created the setting, or who was watching them, all that mattered to him, the only person that was there was Jewel.

Jewel enjoyed every second of it, after they kissed, Jewel looked up to see James. “I liked this surprise!” She called up to him.

"I'm not going back on my word, James, I will kill you," Adrian said looking up at him.
James shrugged. "It worked pretty well, though. I'll leave you two lovebirds alone." And he disappeared again. -
“Maybe you shouldn’t go after him, he did manage to make us a couple.” Jewel said with a slight smile. “Also, I’m guessing it wasn’t my hug that was tight? You were just blushing?” She asked with a smirk on her face.

"Yeah," Adrian said. "And James is probably going to go talk to the others about us, so I will have something to kill him for, don't worry."

“I better go make sure Kendril didn’t burn the food. See you soon?” She said to Adrian.

"We've all dealt with Kendril's cooking before, and he'd excellent and not burning things," Adrian said. "You don't have to go."

“Okay then.” Jewel said as she took a seat.

"So just curious," Adrian said, "how long have you had feelings for me?"
