Henry stopped rubbing her back and unwrapped his arms from around her. "If you ever need me I'll be there for you," he promised.

“Same to you.” Jewel said.

Henry gazed at her for a moment, a hint of longing in his eyes, before stepping back. "I'll see you around, then," he said, and started walking away.

Jewel nodded and went to her room. She sighed and flopped onto the bed.
Had Adrian really cheated on her?
But why would he do that? -
Adrian was currently in his room thinking about what had just happened.
He decided not to tell Jewel.
It would never happen again, anyway. -
Jewel sighed and went to the bathroom to wash her face. She looked like a mess.
(Wait how did Adrian not know that Jewel saw him if he can read her mind? :0) -

But he doesn't read her mind unless it's something like a life or death matter, or if he's teasing her)
Adrian flopped back in the bed, appreciating how the mattress formed around his body. He let out a sigh, wondering what would happen if she did find out. -

The next thing Jewel did was take a picture from the wall and take it out the frame. And then Jewel ripped a picture of Adrian and her. She didn't need any cheaters looking at her from across the room. -
(Ooh I just thought of something
What if Adrian was coming to get Jewel for something and she saw the torn picture in the trash can. He'd already seen her and Henry kissing, so that's when he asks her)
He knew it wouldn't end well. He loved her so much and she knew he felt the same.
Adrian got out of bed and moved over to his desk. He opened a drawer and found a small box that had been there for a long while.
Adrian opened it. Inside was a diamond ring.
He had been meaning to give it to Claire, he had planned on proposing to her.
But now his heart belonged to Jewel. -

Jewel changed into some comfortable clothes. -

Adrian sighed and put it back in his desk, closing the wooden drawer. Maybe soon. -
Sitting on her bed, Jewel read a few books. She had read almost all of them, but her favorite genre was romance. She had read a particular one over and over again.
The Wind of the Shore. -
Adrian wondered if he should go to Kendril about Juliet, ask him to get rid of her, all that jazz. He wasn't sure.

Meanwhile, Juliet was skipping through the halls. She had kissed Adrian! Oh joy!

Adrian realized that there was nothing stopping Juliet from telling Jewel. He bolted out of the room to find her.
